| Abstract: | Enzyme patterns have been used to distinguish among a number of morphologically very similar ant species belonging to the Leptothorax “muscoru” group in North America. Not counting the already described species L. retractus, L. sphagnicolus and L. crassipilis, the complex apparently consists of at least three or four more different taxa. |
