| Abstract: | The mechanisms of interaction between the populations of Yersinia and T. pyriformis have been analyzed on the cellular and subcellular levels. As shown in this investigation, Yersinia, when phagocytized by T. pyriformis, may undergo morphological changes, remain unchanged and also multiply, destroying the host cell in the process. |
