Abstract: | We have investigated the features of sterilization and germination of Scrophularia umbrosa seeds after different periods of storage as explants for in vitro culturing, as well as the details of morphogenesis and
shoot regeneration, on the Murashige and Skoog medium supplemented with various plant hormones. We have examined the early
stages of S. umbrosa development in vitro, and followed the introduction of microclones in the conditions closely resembling the natural habitat
of the species. The full technological cycle of S. umbrosa micropropagation has been developed. We show that introduction of microclones obtained in vitro leads to the acceleration
of the life cycle and the production of viable seeds. |
