Research Methods and Advances of Carbon Storage and Balance in Forest Ecosystems of China

Forests play a very important role in global carbon cycle. In light of extant biomasses, the paper summarizes major research methods and measures adopted in studying carbon storage and balance in forest ecosystems of China, and research trends in these fields as well as practically discussing developmental tendencies and some urgent problems in the future researches of the fields in terms of the realities of China.
