| Abstract: | Bacteriocins are antimicrobial peptides or precursor peptides produced by microbes.This paper focused on the definition of bacteriocins,classification,mechanisms of action,the differences between bacterocins and antibiotics,and its application in production.The potential prospects of bacteriocins were discussed as well. |
