| Abstract: | This paper reports on the observation of treatment with interferon in 33 cases with herpes zoster caused by varicella-zoster virus, the patients with age range from 40 to 78 (over sixty years old was 50 percent) divided into treatmeat group with interferon and control group, Through treatment our finding that the effects in disappearance of pain, heal of herpes and shortening course of disease in interferon group is superior to the effects in control group. We also discussed that antiviral theory of interferon and this drug must be used early. |
