Abstract: | A few simple procedures and cytological characteristics are described for identification of cell-line contamination involving human cells, or cells of several species of common laboratory and domestic animals. These include gross chromosome morphology, C-banding, fluorescence, and the nucleolus organizer regions as revealed by silver straining. |
