| Abstract: | We conclude that populations of Mibora minima from sand-dune in the northwest Iberian Peninsula, should be considered as a distinct subspecies (subsp. Iittorea ), distinguished from the subspecies minima by, inter alia , its long imbricate spikelets. Anatomical, cytological, biogeographical and ecological characteristics of the new taxon are presented. |
