Abstract:The regulation of a glucosyl transferase homologue which is rapidly inducedduring defence response in tobacco was investigated. Expression of the geneis induced in reasons to wounding and during a hypersensitive response toTMV, but regulation differs in these two responses.Keywords: Plant defence, signalling, glucosyl transferase.
