| Abstract: | Accessory genes of herpes simplex virus are implicated in the interplay between the virus and host responses to infection, ensuring the survival of the virus in the host and maintaining its transmission cycle in human populations. They will provide vital clues about novel vaccination strategies and gene and oncolytic therapies. |
