Abstract: | A procedure is described for measuring the rate of biooxidation of elemental sulphur in nutrient solutions. Results of preliminary measurements of sulphur bio-oxidation rate in a dynamic system are presented. The rate of sulphur bio-oxidation has been determined at the level of 0.02–0.05 g of sulphur per m2 of sulphur per h.List of Symbols
