Intestinal flora, intestinal mucosal immunity and the related intestinal diseases: Research progress

Abstract: There is a close relationship between intestinal flora and intestinal mucosal immunity. They can stimulate and interact with each other and keep the microecological balance of intestine together. However, if the balance is broken, the imbalance can result in organic and functional lesions of intestine. The progress in the research on intestinal flora, intestinal mucosal immunity as well as the related intestinal diseases is reviewed in this paper.
