Abstract: | Pollen grains ofVigna angularis and its var.nipponensis are described with special reference to fine structure of the infratectum of the exine. They are 3-porate-operculate with granular infratectum and thin foot-layer. These features agree with those characterizing the genusVigna. In this species var.angularios and var.nipponensis are quite similar in pollen morphology. This supports the view that the two are closely related. |
