To Strengthen the Rural Dog Management and Decrease the Incidence of Rabies

The rural areas are generally regarded as the major region where rabies occurres.Therefore,enhanced supervision of dogs in these areas is crucially important for the decrease of rabies incidence.Here we analyse the main reasons for the occurrence of rabies,specify the significance of dog management,and detail the existing administrative problems in the countryside.Subsequently,we also suggest some effective and practical management measures for the prevention and control of rabies in the rural areas.
