| Abstract: | Runx2, a master regulator of osteoblast differentiation, is expressed several days before osteoblast genes in bone anlage. In this issue of Developmental Cell, show that Twist-1 and Twist-2 suppress the activity of Runx2 and thereby regulate bone formation. |
