Abstract: | - 1.1. The effect of depletion of glutathione (GSH) by dl-buthionine-S,R-sulfoximine (BSO) on lipid peroxidation in rats acutely treated with ethanol was investigated.
- 2.2. BSO pretreatment has not been found to potentiate an increase in liver, brain and erythrocyte lipid peroxide levels.
