The assemblages of Crassostrea gryphoïdes of the Loupian's quarry is constitued of differents morphotypes which result of ecological effects (population density, locality and position in the assemblage). The selection of individuals with her life position shows two lots of Ostreidae the morphology of which is statistically different. The observations about Crassostrea of outcrops of Rhone's Valley and Touraine confirm the relations between position (liable to population's density) and morphology. The two types which are point out are often recognize as different species describe by E.F. von Schlotheim, 1813: Crassostrea gryphoïdes and Crassostrea gingensis. Therefore this two species must be consider as synonymous.  相似文献

The study of Plaissan rodent fauna and the discoveryof a new fossiliferous locality, 〈Nouvelle Faculté Médecine〉, allow us to contribute to a more accurate biochronological mammalian scale, for the Bas-Languedoc Lower Miocene. Nouvelle Faculté Médecine, contemporaneous of La Paillade or slighthy older has a Aquitanian age; Plaissan, equivalent to Paulhiac, ist older than the oldest known interbedded marine level in the Languedocian marine Aquitanian (Les Cévennes); it should be contemporaneous with the ante-stratotypic Aquitanian of Carry-le-Rouet.  相似文献

A new genus and two new species, Salagouneura chimaira nov. gen. and nov. sp. and Phaneroneura minuta nov. sp., together with several other specimens of uncertain affinities, are herein assigned to the family Martynoviidae. This family was previously only known from the Lower Permian of Oklahoma and Kansas (USA). The new specimens have been discovered in the Salagou Formation (Permian; Hérault, France). Stratigraphical and palaeoecological implications of the occurrence of this family in the Salagou Formation are discussed. These discoveries seem correlated with similar palaeoenvironmental conditions between the Salagou Formation and the Midco Salt Lake Formation (Oklahoma).  相似文献

A new ichnological genus, Cynodontipus species-type C. polythrix) has been created to define the unusual tract of a large but still unknown hairy Vertebrate of the Early to Middle Trias, Southern France. Horizon: just below the Chirotherium white sandstones slabs at Fozières (Hérault). This new type of footprint indicates that, as early as the Middle Trias, some Vertebrates were covered with an abundant protection of hair. A short systematic comparison is attempted with the last big Therapsids of that age, mainly the Cynodonts.  相似文献
