慈茹匍蔔茎的分泌道是裂生的胞间道,分布于匍匐茎的基本组织中。单个分泌道原始细胞起始于离茎端约1毫米处的基本分生组织中,原始细胞经分裂形成5—7个上皮细胞包围着中央的裂生腔隙,成为管道系统。上皮细胞无鞘细胞包围。上皮细胞中高尔基体和内质网发达,并溢出小囊泡向着分泌道腔隙面壁的质膜附近迁移,乳汁中亦存在大量完整的小囊泡。上皮细胞和外围薄壁细胞之间的壁层具有大量胞间连丝,小囊泡和内质网的膜结构与胞间连丝末端相接,同时可见上皮细胞的质膜在数处反折内陷,形成袋状结构,在与上皮细胞相对的薄壁细胞内也有同样现象出现,袋状结构内含小形颗粒或囊泡,并在结构上显示出上皮细胞与相邻薄壁细胞间存在着活跃的物质交流。由此认为。代谢物质以整体小囊泡的形式经胞间连丝或内陷的质膜向分泌道迁移是物质运输和分泌的可能方式之一。在电镜下观察,液泡中的积聚物与乳汁十分相似,液泡可能是乳汁的贮存场所之一。  相似文献

慈姑导管仅在根中出现。根的后生木质部中央导管由顶端平截、单穿孔的网纹导管分子连接组成;周围较小的导管分子和管胞有从梯纹管胞向导管分子演化的各种过渡类型;有一至多个梯形穿孔或单穿孔发生在导管分子的端壁或侧壁,并有分枝型导管分子存在,特别在根与主茎连接处尤为明显。管胞亦有分枝与不分枝的类型。  相似文献

Floating marshes occur over 70% of the western Terrebonne Basin, Louisiana, USA, freshwater coastal wetlands. They are of several types: A free-floating thick-mat (45–60 cm) marsh dominated by Panicum hemitomon and Sagittaria lancifolia; a thick mat marsh dominated by Panicum hemitomon and Sagittaria lancifolia that floats part of the year, but whose vertical floating range is damped compared to adjacent water; and an irregularly-floating thin mat (< 30 cm) dominated by Eleocharis spp. in the spring and Ludwigia leptocarpa and Bidens laevis in the summer and fall. Floating mats must be almost entirely organic in order to be buoyant enough to float. The western Terrebonne wetlands receive large winter/spring supplies of suspended sediments from the Atchafalaya River. Even though sediment concentrations in the adjacent bayou are as high as 100 mg l–1, the Panicum hemitomon/Sagittaria lancifolia free-floating marsh probably receives no over-surface sediments since it floats continuously. The bulk density data of the damped-floating marsh, however, suggest some mineral sediment input, probably during winter when this marsh is submerged. These two types of floating marsh could not have developed in the present sediment regime of the Atchafalaya River, but as long as they remain floating can continue to exist. Thin floating mats are found in areas receiving the least sediment (<20 mg 1–1 suspended sediment concentration in adjacent bayous). This low sediment environment probably made possible their formation within the past 20 years. They may represent a transitional stage in mat succession from (1) existing thick-mat floating marsh to a degrading floating marsh, or (2) a floating marsh developing in shallow open water.Corresponding editor: D. This study examined changes in the behavioral and hormonal patterns of cooperatively breeding pairs in a primate species with the passing of time and with specific reproductive events. We (1) compared patterns of sexual, agonistic, and affiliative behavior of newly paired pygmy marmosets with the same behavioral patterns immediately after the birth of their first set of infants; (2) determined if postpartum behavioral differences existed between pairs whose infants lived and those whose infants died; and (3) examined whether behavioral patterns changed over the course of ovarian cycles in parous pygmy marmosets as had been documented in nulliparous pairs. The behavior of pairs was recorded during daily half-hour focal samples for 60 days after pairing, and 30 or 60 days after the birth of infants for pairs whose litters died or lived, respectively. Daily urine samples from females during the study were analyzed for luteinizing hormone and pregnanediol glucuronide concentrations to determine dates of ovulation. The results indicated that males consistently altered their sexual behavior and olfactory monitoring of mates during periovulatory periods in the females' cycles both postpairing and postpartum, while similar rates of social and sexual behavior were maintained between the conditions. Sexual behavior occurred throughout the females' ovarian cycles. Peaks in sexual behavior during the periovulatory period in nulliparous pairs disappeared after the birth of infants. Pairs whose infants died showed higher rates of sexual behavior than pairs with surviving infants. Social and sexual behavior may function to maintain the relationship both during and outside of ovulation, especially with the loss of infants. © 1996 Wiley-Liss, Inc.  相似文献

以45S r DNA和拟南芥型端粒序列为探针对慈姑(Sagittaria trifolia L.)有丝分裂中期染色体进行单色和双色荧光原位杂交分析,并用银染方法检测慈姑45S r DNA位点的表达,最后结合染色体测量数据和45S r DNA杂交信号建立慈姑的核型。结果显示,慈姑的单倍基因组总长度为76.9±1.38μm,最长染色体为11.55±0.10μm,最短染色体为4.54±0.27μm;慈姑的核型公式为:2n=22=2m+2sm+14st+4t,核型不对称性参数CI、A1、A2、As K(%)、AI分别为19.86±11.06、0.72、0.27、78.82、15.29,核型属于Stebbins类型中的3B型。慈姑具有3对45S r DNA位点,分别位于第8、9、10号染色体的短臂末端。拟南芥型端粒序列的杂交信号出现在慈姑每一条染色体的长、短臂末端。银染检测到6个Ag-NOR和6个核仁,表明3对45S r DNA位点在间期核都有表达。本研究结果为药食兼用植物慈姑提供了分子细胞遗传学基础资料。  相似文献

Several genetic and nongenetic benefits have been proposed toexplain multiple mating (polyandry) in animals, to compensatefor costs associated with obtaining additional mates. The mostprominent hypotheses stress the benefits of increased geneticdiversity. In social insects, queens of most species mate onlyonce or have effective mating frequencies close to one. Yet,in a few species of ants, bees, and wasps, polyandry is therule. In these species, colonies are usually headed by a singlequeen, whereas multiple queening adds diversity in several ofthe remaining species, especially in ants. Here we investigatedmating frequency, inbreeding and relatedness between the queensand their mates in the polygynous ant Plagiolepis pygmaea, andthe effect of polyandry on the genetic diversity as a functionof the effective population size of individual colonies. Ourresults show that polyandry occurs frequently in the species.However, queens are frequently inseminated by close relatives,and additional sires add little genetic diversity among offspringof individual queens. In addition, the increase in diversityat the colony level is only marginal. Hence, contrary to establishednotions, polyandry in P. pygmaea seems not to be driven by substantialbenefits of genetic diversity. Nonetheless, very small or asyet unidentified genetic benefits to one party (males, workers,queens) in conjunction with low costs of mating may favor polyandry.Alternatively, nongenetic factors, such as convenience polyandry,may be more important than genetic factors in promoting polyandryin P. pygmaea.  相似文献
