The essential oil of the fresh leaves of Platycladus orientalis (L.), grown in four different biogeographic zones of Jordan,- (the Mediterranean, Irano-Turanian, Saharo-Arabian, and Sudanian penetration) -, were obtained by hydrodistillation and analysed by gas chromatography (GC) and gas chromatography-mass-spectrometry (GC/MS). The actual composition of the spontaneous emitted volatiles was obtained using the solid-phase-micro-extraction (SPME) method and investigated using the same chromatographic and spectroscopic methods. Hydrocarbon monoterpenes dominated the hydrodistilled oils and emissions of all regions. Bicyclic monoterpenes (sabinene, α-pinene, and α-thujene) and monocyclic α-terpinene were detected as the major constituents of the oils and emissions. Additionally, hierarchical cluster analysis (HCA) revealed that the clustering is based on the region of collection rather than the applied methodology. Differences were observed in the quantity of the obtained oils (P-values <0.01); the highest amount of volatile oil was obtained from samples grown in the Irano-Turanian biogeographic zone.  相似文献

Eight propolis samples from Croatia were analyzed in detail, to study the headspace, volatiles, anti‐Varroa‐treatment residue, phenolics, and antioxidant properties. The samples exhibited high qualitative/quantitative variability of the chemical profiles, total phenolic content (1,589.3–14,398.3 mg GAE (gallic acid equivalent)/l EtOH extract), and antioxidant activity (11.1–133.5 mmol Fe2+/l extract and 6.2–65.3 mmol TEAC (Trolox® equivalent antioxidant capacity)/l extract). The main phenolics quantified by HPLC‐DAD at 280 and 360 nm were vanillin, p‐coumaric acid, ferulic acid, chrysin, galangin, and caffeic acid phenethyl ester. The major compounds identified by headspace solid‐phase microextraction (HS‐SPME), simultaneous distillation extraction (SDE), and subsequent GC‐FID and GC/MS analyses were α‐eudesmol (up to 19.9%), β‐eudesmol (up to 12.6%), γ‐eudesmol (up to 10.5%), benzyl benzoate (up to 28.5%), and 4‐vinyl‐2‐methoxyphenol (up to 18.1%). Vanillin was determined as minor constituent by SDE/GC‐FID/MS and HPLC‐DAD. The identified acaricide residue thymol was ca. three times more abundant by HS‐SPME/GC‐FID/MS than by SDE/GC‐FID/MS and was not detected by HPLC‐DAD.  相似文献

The phytochemical composition in two Tunisian globe artichoke cultivars (bracts, leaves, and floral stems) was evaluated in the plant byproducts. The results indicated that the bracts contain the highest levels of total phenols, o‐diphenols, and flavonoids, whereas tannins seem to be more abundant in the leaves. Bracts from the ‘Violet d'Hyères’ cultivar possessed more total phenols (160.8 mg/g DW), flavonoids (64.9 mg/g DW), and anthocyanins (15.3 μg/g DW) than the ‘Blanc d'Oran’ bracts (134.5 mg/g DW, 51.2 mg/g DW, and 8.3 μg/g DW, resp.). Sixty‐four volatile compounds were identified in the headspace of globe artichoke material, particularly in the bracts. The volatile profile showed that sesquiterpene hydrocarbons and non‐terpene derivatives were the main volatiles emitted by the bracts in both cultivars. These results suggest that globe artichoke byproducts might represent a potential source of natural compounds, which could be used as nutraceuticals or as ingredients in the design of functional foods.  相似文献

The paper presents recent trends in solventless sample preparation techniques for environmental analysis. First, a general classification of solventless methods is given. Next, three of them, treated as preferable techniques, i.e. SPME, SDME and HS, are presented in detail, with respect to their usability and effectiveness for environmental samples. The analytical study of two hot-water extracts from the mushrooms Inonotus hispidus (Bull.) P. Karst and Sparassis crispa Wulf.:Fr was performed by NMR, HPLC-PAD-MS and GC-MS. The simultaneous use of different analytical techniques highlighted the diverse classes of natural products contained in these extracts. This study describes an attempt to adapt a useful phytochemical method to the direct investigation of plant water extracts, which represent the typical traditional manner for the administration of natural remedies. The heritage concerning plant processing procedures, known as traditional pharmaceutical knowledge, could play an important role in future research on medicinal species. This kind of study could be used as an update for current and future perspectives in this research field.  相似文献

The flowers of Bassia latifolia are known to contain 2-acetyl-1-pyrroline (2AP), the compound responsible for pleasant aroma in basmati and other scented rice. Four growth stages of Bassia flowers were identified and 2AP contents were analysed in each stage. It was found that 2AP (3.30 ppm) gets synthesized only in fleshy corolla of mature flowers (fourth stage). The activity of γ-aminobutyraldehyde dehydrogenase (AADH); an enzyme responsible for synthesis of γ-aminobutyricacid (GABA) from γ-aminobutyraldehyde (GABald) was assessed in these four stages. The AADH activity was absent in the fourth stage. It was concluded that ceased activity of AADH in fourth stage flowers leads to the accumulation of γ-aminobutyraldehyde which is cyclised spontaneously to Δ1-pyrroline, the key precursor of 2AP. Δ1-pyrroline further reacts unenzymatically with methylglyoxal to form 2AP.  相似文献

本文首次采用顶空固相微萃取技术(HS-SPME)提取该植物挥发性成分,然后通过气质联用技术(GC-MS)结合保留指数以及标样对照对化学成分进行了定性,并通过峰面积归一化法计算出各组分的相对百分含量。试验确定了PDMS/DVB固相微萃取对糖蜜草挥发物的萃取效果最好,并从中鉴定出33种化合物占总挥发性成分的90.94%,主要为烷烃和萜烯类化合物。该研究为开发糖蜜草作为水稻螟虫的驱避植物进行害虫安全有效防治提供理论依据,并为驱避性挥发物的田间应用奠定基础。  相似文献

The aim of this work was to trap the volatiles released from whole frozen and dry aerial parts, and, separately, from different organs (leaves, stems, corolla and calyx) of bastard balm (Melittis melissophyllum L., Lamiaceae) populations collected in Italy and Slovakia by HS-SPME, and to identify the headspace constituents responsible for the characteristic aroma impression by GC/FID and GC/MS techniques. Among more than 100 volatile components detected, the C(8) alcohol oct-1-en-3-ol, responsible for the typical mushroom-like odor, and the phenolic coumarin, with a characteristic sweet and creamy vanilla bean odor, played a major role in the aroma of whole aerial parts and different plant organ samples. In particular, dry calyx parts could be proposed as flavoring agent in food products as mushroom aroma enhancer. Multivariate chemometric techniques, such as cluster analysis and principal component analysis, were used to characterize the sample populations according to the geographical origin and processing of plant material.  相似文献

Six different olibanum samples with certified botanical origin were analyzed by headspace SPME-GC/MS in order to define their mono-, sesqui- and diterpenic composition, as pertinent criteria of identification. Boswellia carteri and Boswellia sacra olibanum have quite similar chemical composition, with isoincensole acetate as the main diterpenic biomarker. Although Boswellia serrata olibanum also exhibits this biomarker, the presence of methylchavicol, methyleugenol and an unidentified oxygenated sesquiterpene distinguishes B. serrata olibanum from the two other species. The characteristic chemical compounds of Boswellia papyrifera are the diterpenic biomarkers incensole and its oxide and acetate derivatives, n-octanol and n-octyl acetate. Boswellia frereana olibanum is devoid of diterpenes of the incensole family but contains a high amount of many dimers of alpha-phellandrene. The chemical composition of olibanum, which is demonstrated to be different for each Boswellia species allowed the determination of the taxonomic origin of frankincense samples purchased on various markets in East Africa, in the Near East and in Yemen. Moreover, terpenic fingerprints allowed the botanical origin of olibanum used in traditional incense mixtures to be identified. Furthermore, this study gave us the opportunity to assign a botanical origin to an archaeological frankincense sample.  相似文献

顶空固相微萃取作为一种新的挥发性和半挥发性物质分析技术,被广泛应用于植物样品的定性分析。由于进行顶空分析时,挥发性组分间的基质效应以及较为复杂的扩散和吸附过程,定量分析一直是SPME分析应用的难题。目标分析物的量看作是达到吸附平衡后单一萃取的物质量的总和,则无需考虑分析样品在顶空、萃取涂层间的分配,同时可以消除基质效应。在利用标准物质进行校正后只需要一次顶空萃取,即可求出分析物质的总量。首先利用DVB/CAR/PDMS定性得到拟南芥挥发性物质的组成,然后采用CAR/PDMS涂层定量,分析了拟南芥的3种绿叶挥发性物质,优化后萃取条件为40℃萃取20min,相对标准偏差小于12%,在3株植物样品中这些挥发性物质的量为78.6~158.4ng.g-1。  相似文献
