The flower heads of Achillea distans afforded nine new sesquiterpene lactones (one glaucolide, six guaianolides and two dimeric lactones) in addition to 18 known terpenoids. The structures and stereochemistry of the new compounds were elucidated by spectroscopic methods. The stereochemistry of 11,13-dihydroezomontanin was revised.  相似文献

Studying the phenology, which is an important issue of plants, can be used for determining the best time of all kinds of utilizations, and also conservation and stability of plants’ growth and breeding will result. Therefore, this study was performed in Tezkharab rangelands, where Puccinella distans is an important vegetative element that is consumed by livestock, to determine the suitable grazing time for this plant based on its phenology, for about a 4-year period (2007–2010). For this purpose, plant phenology and changes in its growth characteristics were investigated weekly. Moreover, during this period, all phenological stages were adjusted to the monthly precipitation and temperature. The results indicated that the time of phenological stages had fluctuations which were related to environmental conditions. The best time to start grazing is early May and the best time for collecting the seeds of this species is late July to early August.  相似文献

Details are given of a preliminary study of salt marshes near Sullom Voe, Mainland, Shetland, using 50×50 cm quadrats placed systematically along transects. Computer-generated clusters are shown to match well against generally accepted syntaxa, whilst high-similarity clusters in certain alliances possess internal structure related to dominance and to effects of freshwater irrigation. The syntaxa provisionally identified are the Eleocharion uniglumis, Armerion maritimae, Puccinellion maritimae, and grazed cliff top grasslands showing affinity to the Puccinellio-Spergularion salinae. Computer clusters with Puccinellia maritima and much Fucus muscoides are associated with active pioneer grass growth and with slumping and erosion on wet marshes, whilst more species-rich clusters reflect a loss of vigour in Puccinellia maritima at higher elevations. Drier stonier marshes also display depositional and erosional features, the former being associated with active Puccinellia maritima growth at lower levels on the marsh. It is suggested that most of these processes involve the recycling of local marsh sediment material.Nomenclature follows Clapham et al. 活性焦对晋北盐碱地土壤性质和两种植物生长的影响   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
固废基改良剂是盐碱地改良的有效手段之一。活性焦作为一种多孔废弃物,应用于盐碱地预期可以起到改善土壤性质、减缓植物盐碱胁迫的作用。为了阐明活性焦对晋北盐碱地的改良效应,本研究设置不同用量活性焦(CK, 0 g·kg-1;A10, 10 g·kg-1;A20, 20 g·kg-1;A50, 50 g·kg-1),分析其对盐碱地土壤性质和植物生长的影响。结果表明: 施用活性焦能显著提高土壤的水稳性团聚体含量,并降低土壤盐分含量、pH值和电导率。与CK相比,种植碱茅和玉米土壤的团聚体平均重量直径增加5.1%~32.2%,pH值降低0.4%~4.1%,钠吸附比(SAR)降低4.8%~18.7%,电导率降低7.4%~8.2%。施用适量活性焦能够降低植物细胞的质膜损伤,提高叶片叶绿素和Ca2+含量,从而有效促进植物生长,碱茅和玉米的生物量均在A20处理达到最大。表明盐碱土施用20 g·kg-1活性焦(A20)可改善根际土壤环境,提高植物对Ca2+等的选择性吸收,从而降低盐分对植物细胞的损伤,促进盐碱生境中植物的生长。  相似文献

The weakly-competitive grass, Puccinellia distans (Jacq.) Parl., and the highly competitive grass, Elymus repens (L.), coexist on roadsides in Central Europe which are regularly mowed. The effect of mowing on this existence was evaluated in situ at the roadside and in experimental field plots under non-limiting water and nutrient conditions. In four experimental garden plots, tussocks of P. distans were transplanted into monocultures of E. repens early in the growing season. After establishment, two of the plots were mowed and two left unmowed. In the unmowed plots, P. distans was quickly overtopped and died, while in mowed plots, P. distans was able to persist throughout the growing season. Despite persistence in the mowed plots, the number of tillers of P. distans declined throughout the growing season as numbers of tillers of E. repens increased. It was concluded that mowing could enhance coexistence in situations of unlimited nutrients and water where the faster growing and aggressive E. repens would exclude P. distans without mowing. At the roadside, six plots were established at a site containing both species early in the growing season. Weekly mowing was performed on three of the plots while the others were left unmowed. In mid-July, when the grasses were beginning to senesce and had produced seed-heads, foliage area for P. distans was significantly higher in the mowed than the unmowed plots while the reverse was true for E. repens. While P. distans had higher foliage area in the mowed plots, it was able to persist to seedhead production in the unmowed plots. Simulations conducted with a multispecies canopy photosynthesis model indicated that reductions in carbon gain for P. distans due to shading by foliage of E. repens did not correspond well with foliage area for P. distans at the start of experiment or in the mowed and unmowed plots in mid-July. In both the mowed and unmowed plots, the portion of foliage consisting of P. distans increased with closeness to the roadway and corresponded inversely with soil depth. At soil depths of greater than 15 cm, P. distans did not occur. More effective exploitation of shallow soil may shift the competitive balance toward P. distans and be a significant factor in the coexistence of these two species in the shallow soils at the roadside. Differences in leaf temperatures at the roadside that might result from different leaf widths were also evaluated. The narrower-leaved P. distans was hypothesized to have lower midday leaf temperatures at sites close to the asphalt and perhaps be closer to the temperature optimum for photosynthesis during warm summer days. In situ leaf temperature measurements made with small thermocouples attached to intact leaves, however, were not significantly different for the two species, and coexistence was not likely to be affected by leaf temperatures.  相似文献

Equiproportional mixtures and monocultures of two roadside grass species (Elymus repens (L.) Gould and Puccinellia distans (L.) Pari.) were grown in experimental field plots under non-limiting water and nutrient conditions. During the course of the season, E. repens increasingly overgrew and shaded plants of P. distans which eventually died. A multispecies canopy photosynthesis model was parameterized using measurements of structural and physiological characteristics from three different stages of canopy development. Results of simulations clearly revealed that canopy photosynthesis of P. distans was highly dependent on the degree of light competition caused by E. repens. Since P. distans has recently invaded stands of roadside vegetation throughout Central Europe where it has replaced the native and highly competitive E. repens, it is hypothesized that this success is due to disturbance factors that keep E. repens from growing tall and shading P. distans.  相似文献

A GC/MS study of the hydrocarbon fraction and the fraction containing oxygenated compounds showed the presence of 12 monoterpene hydrocarbons (28.4%), 13 sesquiterpene hydrocarbons (32.8%), 3 sesquiterpene alcohols (27.2%), 2 esters (7.2%) and 3 carbonyl compounds (4.4%) in the essential oil of Cymbopogon distans.
