Acclimation of loach to relatively low and high temperatures gives rise to changes in the properties of LDH from oocytes. The minimum of apparent Km values for pyruvate of LDH from immature oocytes of fish acclimated to low temperature was registered at low assay temperatures, whereas adaptation to high temperatures leads to the enzyme showing a minimum at high temperatures. In thermal acclimation of fish the Km minimum value drifts during 15 days. During oocyte maturation, the Km minimum drifts during 40 hr. The differences in the kinetic features of LDH from oocytes both at thermal acclimation and during oocyte maturation are not associated with the appearance of new isozymes. 相似文献

本文用流水和换水式试验,在水硬度为115mg/L(以CaCO_3计)条件下研究了铜对大鳞泥鳅幼鱼生长和存活的影响。试验从刚孵出的幼鱼开始,流水式试验持续30d,换水式试验历时16d。结果表明,在流水条件下铜对泥鳅幼鱼存活有明显影响的可观察效应浓度最低是41.2μg/L,而无可观察效应浓度则为25.2μg/L。根据对现存量的影响,用换水式试验测得铜的最低可观察效应浓度为38μg/L,无可观察效应浓度是19μg/L。 相似文献

Atlantic salmon ( Salmo salar L.) fry hatched from eggs transferred from high-Na to low-Na water during the eyed stage of development had a significantly higher Vmax and lower Km (P <0.01) of the sodium uptake mechanism than fry hatched from eggs incubated entirely in low-Na or high-Na water.
Fry hatched from eggs transferred to acid, high aluminium water during the eyed stage of development had a similar Vmax and Km to fry hatched from eggs incubated entirely in high- or low-Na water. Eggs incubated continuously in acid, high aluminium (low-Na) water produced fry with significantly lower Km and Vmax values than fry hatched from eggs incubated continuously in low-Na water. Eggs and fry in acid, high aluminium water continually lost sodium and mortality was 100% at 5 5 M O degree-days (2–3 weeks after hatching).
The results are discussed with respect to the influence of perivitelline fluid ion activities in eggs in acid, high aluminium water on the kinetic characteristics of sodium uptake in yolk-sac fry. The kinetics of active sodium uptake in dechorionated embryos, yolk-sac fry and start-feed fry of Atlantic salmon were compared in two groups reared either in low conductivity, untreated, river water (conductivity ∼ 46 μS cm−1 , pH 5.75), or in 'improved' river water buffered with sea water (conductivity ∼2200 μS cm 1 , pH 6.56), the latter treatment often being used in commercial hatcheries to avoid problems associated with periodic acidification.
Maximal transport rate ( Vmax ) increased during development in both groups but was always significantly higher in embryos and fry maintained in untreated river water. Values for K m were not seen to vary during development up to 12 weeks after hatching and were not significantly different between groups, or from values reported for adult Atlantic salmon in fresh water.
The results are discussed with respect to the influence of Na+ concentrations in the perivitelline fluid of developing eggs and in the external medium surrounding fry on V max and K m . Microsatellite loci were used to evaluate the level of polyandryand intraspecific brood mixing in Protomelas c.f. spilopterus,a paedophagous, maternal mouth-brooding cichlid from Lake MakaiAfrica. We found that broods were fertilized by one to threemales, which was a reduced level of multiple paternity comparedto other mouth-brooding cichlids. Low density of breeding malesand the risk of intraspecific predation are likely explanationsfor reduced polyandry. Intraspecific brood-mixing was foundin four out of the six broods examined, with the proportionsof foreign fry ranging from 6% to 65%. In the loach Misgurnus anguillicaudatus , very few diploid–triploid mosaic individuals, which are generated by accidental incorporation of the sperm nucleus into diploid eggs produced by clonal diploid loach, occur in nature. Ploidy examination of gynogenetic progeny induced by activation with ultraviolet-irradiated goldfish sperm indicated that diploid–triploid mosaic females laid haploid, diploid and triploid eggs, simultaneously. In addition, triploid eggs exhibited larger egg sizes. Microsatellite genotyping of diploid–triploid mosaics revealed that triploid genotypes of mosaic mothers possessed two alleles specific to the clonal diploid and one allele from normal diploid male. Diploid eggs from a mosaic mother had genotypes absolutely identical to the diploid clone. Most genotypes of triploid eggs were identical to the mosaic mother, and one of the three alleles of the mosaic mother was transmitted to haploid eggs. These results suggested that diploid germ cells, which had a clonal genome, were differentiated into clonal diploid eggs, and triploid and haploid eggs were produced from triploid germ cells in the same ovary of mosaic individuals. 相似文献

A total of 4289 sea trout Salmo trutta alevins swam up from six of eleven covered redds. They emerged only from those redds where the mean dissolved oxygen level was >6·9 mg l−1 and the Sorting coe.cient, an indicator of intragravel void space, was <5.
