Phylogenetic relationships among the microgastroid wasps (Hymenoptera: braconidae): combined analysis of 16S and 28S rDNA genes and morphological data

Relationships among the microgastroid complex of braconid wasps were investigated using sequence data from the 16S mitochondrial rDNA and 28S (D2 expansion region) nuclear rDNA genes, as well as morphological data. Parsimony analysis of these gene fragments, both separately and combined, indicated that Neoneurus (Neoneurinae) and Ichneutes (Ichneutinae) were no more closely related to the microgastroids than were a range of helconoid taxa. Combined parsimony analysis of the microgastroids indicated the relationships ((Cardiochilinae + Microgastrinae) + Miracinae) + Cheloninae, with Adeliinae falling inside the Cheloninae. Bootstrap proportions for each of these nodes were greater than 70%. Character reweighting (sensu Farris), using the rescaled consistency index, also recovered these relationships. Mapping of lifestyle traits onto this relatively well supported phylogeny indicated that solitary endoparasitism is ancestral for the microgastroids, with a single origin for egg-larval endoparasitism in the Cheloninae + Adeliinae. Mapping of the radiation of the microgastroids into lepidopteran hosts was less clear, due to the specialized biology of the most basal microgastroid clade, the Cheloninae + Adeliinae. Our data are consistent with attack of concealed lepidopteran hosts as the plesiomorphic lifestyle, at least for the Miracinae + Cardiochilinae + Microgastrinae, with radiation into more exposed hosts in the Cardiochilinae + Microgastrinae.

按Mason(1981)的分类系统记述了分布于湖南长沙和广西鹿寨县小腹茧蜂亚科 1新属 1新种 ,即拟麦蛾茧蜂属Pseudovenanidesgen .nov .和湖南拟麦蛾茧蜂Pseudovenanideshunanussp .nov .,模式标本保存于湖南农业大学昆虫标本室。     

TWO NEW SPECIES OF MICROPLITIS FOERSTER (HY‐MENOPTERA: BRACONIDAE) FROM CHINA*

Abstract The present paper describes two new species of Microplitis Fcerster 1862, viz: Microplitis zhaoi Xu et He sp. nov. and Microplitis choui Xu et He sp. nov. The type specimens are deposited in Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China. 1. Microplitis zhaoi sp. nov. is described from Fujian and Zhejiang Provinces in China closely related to Microplitis malimba Papp, but differs from the latter in the combination of the following features: 1) l‐R1 shorter than stigma; 2) sternites 1–3 yellowish white; 3) submarginal cell of hind wing 2 times as long as basal width and 4) r as long as 2‐SR. 2. Microplitis choui sp. nov. is described from Shaanxi and Gansu Provinces in China closely related to Microplitis zhaoi sp. nov. but differs from the latter in the combination of the following features: 1) r shorter than 2‐SR; 2) sternites 1–3 blackish: 3) tergites 2–3 black; 4) cu‐a of hind wing strongly sloped outward and 5) antenna shorter than body.

侧沟茧蜂属二新种记述(膜翅目:茧蜂科)(英文)

本文记述了采自甘肃、陕西杨凌、浙江松阳和福建福州等地的侧沟茧蜂属MicroplitisFoerster 186 2二新种 :赵氏侧沟茧蜂Microplitiszhaoi,sp .nov .,该新种与分布于古北区的MicroplitismalimbaPapp相似 ,但以下特征与之区别 :①前翅 1 R1脉短于翅痣长 ;②腹部第 1— 3腹片黄白色 ;③后肘室长为基宽的 2倍 ;④前翅r脉与 2 SR脉等长。其学名以我国著名寄生蜂分类学家赵修复教授姓氏命名。周氏侧沟茧蜂Microplitischoui ,sp .nov .,该新种与分布于东洋区的Microplitiszhaoi,sp .nov .相似但以下特征与之区别 ;①触角短于体长 ;②腹部第 1— 3腹片黑褐色 ;③腹部背板黑色 ;④前翅r脉短于 2 SR脉 ;⑤后翅cu a脉下端明显弯向翅基。其学名以我国著名昆虫分类学家周尧教授姓氏命名。模式标本保存在浙江大学植保系昆虫标本室。
