厉螨科二新种（蜱螨亚纲：革螨股）

本文绘图描述了下盾螨属Hypoaspis二新种,订名为拟小下盾螨Hypoaspis subminor sp.nov.与邓氏下盾螨H.tengi sp.nov.。模式标本分别采自宁夏自治区中宁县的黑线仓鼠Cricetulus barabensis Pallas与小毛足鼠Phodopus roborovskii Satunin体上,保存在宁夏自治区地方病防治所与贵阳医学院。     

中国下盾螨属一新种(蜱螨亚纲,厉螨科)

记述厉螨科下盾螨属1新种,沈阳广厉螨Hypoaspis (Cosmolaelaps) shenyangensis sp．nov．,新种与合肥广厉螨H．(Cossmolaelaps) hefeiensis Xuet Liang,1996近似,但可从以下特征区别：1)第1对口下板毛长于颚角;2)雌螨螯肢定趾上具3大齿2小齿,末端呈钩状,雄螨定趾具1齿;3)胸前板新月状,与胸板明显分离;4)雌螨末体腹面膜质区着生11对刚毛。模式标本2002年9月采自沈阳天柱山土壤落叶层,保存于沈阳农业大学植物保护学院。     

湖北西部革螨三新种(蜱螨亚纲,中气门亚目)

记述采自湖北西部厚厉螨属Pachylaelaps Berlese,1888 1新种,巴东厚厉螨P．badongensis sp．nov．,赫刺螨属Hirstionyssus Fonseca,1948 1新种,差毛赫刺螨H．anisochaetus sp．nov．和下盾螨属Hypoaspis Canestrini．1884 1新种,五峰下盾螨H．wufengensis sp．nov．,文中描述了新种的形态,并附有详细形态特征图。模式标本存放军事医学科学院微生物流行病研究所医学昆虫标本馆。     

周氏下盾螨、内蒙下盾螨和网状广厉螨补充描述(蜱螨亚纲:革螨股:厉螨科)

本文记述下盾螨新种Ｈｙｏａｓｐｉｓｓｏｒｅｃｉｓｓｐ．ｎｏｖ,并讨论与近似种Ｈ．ＨｒｙｄｉＳａｍｓｉｎａｋ１９６１的鉴别特征。模式标本采自青海互助土族自治县的暗色ＳｏｒｅｘｓｉｎａｌｉｓＴｈｏｍａｓ,１９１２体上。文内量度单位均为μｍ,标本存放在青海省地方病防治研究所,西宁。     

常革螨属一新种和下盾螨属一新种(蜱螨亚纲:革螨股:寄螨科,厉螨科)

记述常革螨属1新种：湖北常革螨Vulgarogamasus huberensis Ma et Liu,sp.nov.和下盾螨属1新种：类刺下盾螨Hypoaspis spinaperaffinis Ma et Cui,sp.nov.。     

Combined releases of entomopathogenic nematodes and the predatory mite Hypoaspis aculeifer to control soil-dwelling stages of western flower thrips Frankliniella occidentalis

The effect of the predatory miteHypoaspis aculeifer Canestrini (Acarina:Laelapidae) on soil-dwelling stages of thewestern flower thrips (WFT) Frankliniellaoccidentalis Pergande (Thysanoptera: Thripidae)and the influence of combined releases of H.aculeifer and two entomopathogenic nematodes(EPNs) Heterorhabditis bacteriophora Poinar(Rhabditida: Heterorhabditidae) (strain HK3,HK3) and Steinernema feltiae Filipjev(Rhabditida: Steinernematidae) (Nemaplus®,SFN) were investigated in pot trials usingseedlings of green beans (Phaseolus vulgarisL.). Ten H. aculeifer adults per pot and 400infective juveniles (IJs) cm^–2 soil, of the twoEPN strains were used. In comparison withuntreated control, H. aculeifer reduced theproportion of adult F. occidentalis emergenceby 46%, while SFN and HK3 led to a reductionin adult thrips emergence by 46% and 61%,respectively. Significant differences in adultWFT emergence were found between combinedtreatments of EPNs and H. aculeifer, andindividual applications of EPNs and/or H.aculeifer, with significantly lower adultthrips emergence in the combined treatments.These findings highlight the potential for acombined use of EPNs with H. aculeifer for thecontrol of soil-dwelling stages of thrips.     

吉林省下盾螨属一新种(蜱螨亚纲:革螨股)

记述下盾螨属一新种：白城下盾螨Ｈｙｐｏａｓｐｉｓ ｂａｉｃｈｅｎｇｅｎｓｉｓ Ｍａ,ｓｐ．ｎｏｖ．。     

Biological control of glasshouse sciarid flies (Bradysia spp.) with the predatory mite,hypoaspis miles on cyclamen and poinsettia

The predatory mite Hypoaspis miles was released from laboratory cultures into young crops of pot‐grown cyclamen and poinsettia in six small glasshouses. Five different rates of release were used together with a control house. In both crops, rates of 55 mites per pot and above gave satisfactory control of glasshouse sciarids with no later resurgence of the pest. Mites persisted on the pots until the end of the trial, probably feeding on a residual population of sciarids. In separate tests H. miles was found mostly in the top 1 cm of compost and persisted in horticultural compost for up to 7 weeks in the absence of food.
