本文报道寄生于我国非洲蝼蛄(Gryllotalpa africana Palisot de Beauvois)上的蝼蛄菌属(Tettigomyces)11个种,其中新种1个:线状蝼蛄菌(T.filiformis Ye);国内新记录种10个:渐尖蝼蛄菌(T.acuminatus Thaxt.),非洲蝼蛄菌(T.africanus Thaxt.),短蝼蛄菌(T.brevis Thaxt.),毛生蝼蛄菌(T.chaetophilus Thaxt.),混淆蝼蛄菌(T.co-nfusus Thaxt.),蝼蛄菌(T.gryllotalpae Thaxt.),印度蝼蛄菌(T.indicus Thaxt.),间型蝼蛄菌(T.intermedius Thaxt.),翅生蝼蛄菌(T.pterophilus Thaxt.),普通蝼蛄菌(T.vulgaris Thaxt.)。本文所研究的全部标本都保存于广东省微生物研究所。  相似文献

The ecologically efficient escape direction assumed by Gryllotalpa gryllotalpais learned by the larvae after they leave the maternal nest. Nonetheless, larvae hatched in the laboratory are innately capable of using the sun to maintain a set escape direction. Capsule Seasonal, age- and sex-related variations in the diet were studied during March to October.

Aims To determine which arthropod orders contributed most during the laying–rearing period and those important in determining breeding success of the species in an intensive agricultural habitat.

Methods Faeces (n = 388, 345 g) and three gut samples were dissected to determine which arthropod orders contributed most to the diet, especially during the laying–rearing period.

Results Coleoptera were the most numerous prey followed by Orthoptera, Dermaptera and Hymenoptera. No difference was observed in the diet of adult males and females. Although adults ate arthropods throughout the breeding season, plant material contributed 97–99% of faecal contents by weight in each month. Chicks, however, only ate arthropods, notably Coleoptera and Orthoptera, at least until 2–3 weeks old.

Conclusion Increasing arthropod availability would be a useful management tool for maintaining endangered Little Bustard populations by potentially increasing chick survival.  相似文献

The underground life of the oriental mole cricket Gryllotalpa orientalis has been investigated by studying the structure of its burrows under different environmental situations and in different seasons. The different uses of different burrow types and their advantages and disadvantages have been examined. The total length, number of tunnels and combination of burrow types varied from a simple tunnel to a more complex one with branches at various angles to the surface, burrow types being divided roughly into shallow horizontal or deep vertical ones. In horizontal burrows, the branching structure was well developed in various directions. It is notable that the vertical burrows of G. orientalis were occupied by only one individual. Both vertical and horizontal burrows were used for foraging: vertical burrows for plants with subterranean stems and horizontal burrows for creeping plants. Vertical burrows were also used for hiding from predators, resting, moulting and overwintering, whereas horizontal burrows were used for escaping from predators and as mating routes. Egg chambers were constructed beside horizontal burrows, and calling burrows were constructed as part of horizontal burrows. Based on their current requirements, mole crickets continuously modify their burrow structures or change burrowing sites.  相似文献

Capsule The composition varied between colony site, month and year.

Aims To determine the diet composition of chicks and its variations in 2000 and 2001. To look for any changes over the last 30 years.

Methods Chick regurgitates were analysed to determine which Order contributed most to the diet, by frequency and by biomass.

Results During 2000 and 2001 chick diet was dominated by insects (92% and 70% by biomass, respectively), mainly Coleoptera (60% and 41%) and Orthoptera (27% in both years). The dry mass of Orthoptera, Coleoptera adults, Odonata and amphibians differed significantly between breeding sites, months and years.The proportion of invertebrates (in biomass) increased from 36.5% in 1970 and 31% in 1971 to 95% in 2000 and 90% in 2001 whereas the proportion of amphibians decreased in the same time from 49% and 33% in 1970 and 1971 to 5.0% and 9.5% in 2000 and 2001, respectively.

Conclusion The proportion of prey types differed bewteen colony sites and months. Major changes were found in the diet composition between the early 1970s and 2000s. The possible hypotheses for the observed differences are discussed.  相似文献
