SY-1 (20-deoxysalinomycin), a monocarboxylic polyether antibiotic closely related to salinomycin, caused a rapid release of previously accumulated alkali metal cations by valinomycin or monazomycin in rat liver mitochondria, and simultaneously reversed swelling of mitochondria.

With a strict specificity for substrate and cation, SY-1 exhibited a property of inhibiting mitochondrial functions such as substrate oxidation, oxidative phosphorylation and ATP hydrolysis induced by valinomycin or monazomycin, In comparative study with salinomycin, SY-1 was found to be more effective on the mitochondrial functions than salinomycin.

On the basis of the results so far obtained, the inhibitory effect of SY-1 on mitochondria is interpreted as a result of interaction with essential cations, especially with K+, in mitochondria.  相似文献

Over 200 Albizia lebbeck trees at Sultan Qaboos University campus wilted and died. The symptoms were dieback of large branches due to infection by Scytalidium dimidiatum. The fungus has also infected Ficus benghalensis, F. carica, F. retusa, Thespesia populnea, Delonix regia and Peltophorum petrocarpum. This is the first report of the fungus in Oman and on A. lebbeck, T. populnea, D. regia and P. petrocarpum. The strain of this fungus has not been found to cause human disease in Oman. 以云南地区含羞草科合欢属滇合欢Albizia simeonis为研究对象,在调查滇合欢正常种荚和被昆虫寄生种荚内种子数、种子败育数和种子大小的基础上,研究昆虫寄生对滇合欢种荚内种子数量、大小以及败育的影响,分析了种荚内种子大小和数量之间的关系。结果表明:完好种荚与受害种荚内种子总数差异并不显著,但完好种荚内正常种子数量显著高于受害种荚,而败育种子数则显著低于受害种荚。昆虫寄生并没有对滇合欢种荚内正常种子大小产生显著影响,但被寄生的种子体积显著大于正常种子。种荚内败育种子数与被寄生种子数呈显著正相关关系,表明昆虫寄生对滇合欢种荚内种子败育产生了影响。滇合欢种荚内种子数量与种子大小呈负相关关系,但完好种荚内种子数量与大小的相关性并不显著,而有昆虫寄生的种荚内种子数量与种子大小则表现出显著的负相关,即昆虫寄生加剧了滇合欢种荚内种子大小与数量的权衡。  相似文献

The floral architecture and phenology of the tree species Albizia julibrissin (Fabaceae) offer the potential for flowers within inflorescences to share common pollen donors. Patterns of paternity within individual tree crowns may differ among isolated individuals and those in populations due to differences in pollinator foraging behavior. To determine how genetic diversity is partitioned within individual seed pools and whether these patterns differ among isolated and population trees, we obtained all fruits from three inflorescences from four clusters from three isolated trees and from three population trees in Athens, Georgia. We assayed 14 polymorphic allozymes to genotype all progeny within singly sired fruits to determine the multilocus genotype of each fruit's pollen donor. Inflorescences had multiple pollen donors, but simulation analyses revealed that redundancy of pollen donors tended to be more likely within inflorescences than randomly across the crown. Analysis of genetic and genotypic diversity indicated that individual maternal trees received pollen from many donors in uneven frequencies. Results suggest that isolated trees receive pollen from slightly fewer pollen donors and experience more within-plant pollinator movement than trees in populations. However, isolated trees receive qualitatively similar pollen from many sources, suggesting that these trees are not effectively isolated and that pollen moves long distances in this species.  相似文献

Two different nematodes were isolated from the bark of Albizia lebbeck trees; one from insect infested and another from noninfested, healthy tree. Based on the biological, morphological, and molecular evidences, the nematodes are described as Deladenus albizicus n. sp. and D. processus n. sp. (Nematoda: Hexatylina). Deladenus albizicus n. sp., isolated from insect-infested tree, multiplied on the fungus Nigrospora oryzae. Myceliophagous females of this nematode reproduced by parthenogenesis and spermathecae were indistinct. Infective females, readily produced in the cultures, are dorsally curved. Only one type of males containing small-sized sperms in their genital tracts were produced in the culture. Myceliophagous females: L = 0.75 to 1.71 mm, a = 32.3 to 50.8, b = 9.3 to 11.2, b’ = 5.2 to 7.3, c = 27.2 to 35.6, V = 91.0 to 93.3, c’ = 2.0 to 2.9, stylet = 11 to 12 µm, excretory pore in the region of median pharyngeal bulb, 43 to 47 µm anterior to hemizonid. Deladenus processus n. sp., isolated from bark of healthy A. lebbeck tree, was cultured on Alternaria alternata. Myceliophagous females reproduced by amphimixis and their spermathecae contained rounded sperms. Infective females were never produced, even in old cultures. Myceliophagous females: L = 0.76 to 0.99 mm, a = 34 to 49, b = 13.3 to 17.7, b’ = 3.8 to 5.8, c = 19.6 to 22.8, V = 92.2 to 93.5, c’ = 2.7 to 3.5, stylet = 6 to 7 µm, excretory pore in the proximity of hemizonid, tail conoid, tapering from both sides to a long pointed central process. It is proposed to classify Deladenus species in three groups: durus, siricidicola, and laricis groups based on female and spermatogonia dimorphism, mode of reproduction, and insect parasitism.  相似文献

A monomeric 5.5-kDa protein with hemolytic activity toward rabbit erythrocytes was isolated from seeds of Albizia lebbeck by using a protocol that involved ion-exchange chromatography on Q-Sepharose and SP-Sepharose, hydrophobic interaction chromatography on Phenyl-Sepharose, and gel filtration on Superdex 75. It was unadsorbed on both Q-Sepharose and SP-Sepharose, but adsorbed on Phenyl-Sepharose. Its hemolytic activity was fully preserved in the pH range 0-14 and in the temperature range 0-100 °C, and unaffected in the presence of a variety of metal ions and carbohydrates. The hemolysin reduced viability of murine splenocytes and inhibited proliferation of MCF-7 breast cancer cells and HepG2 hepatoma cells with an IC50 of 0.21, 0.97, and 1.37 μM, respectively. It impeded mycelial growth in the fungi Rhizoctonia solani with an IC50 of 39 μM but there was no effect on a variety of other filamentous fungi, including Fusarium oxysporum, Helminthosporium maydis, Valsa mali and Mycosphaerella arachidicola. Lebbeckalysin inhibited growth of Escherichia coli with an IC50 of 0.52 μM.  相似文献

合欢皮提取物抑制血管生成的体内药效学研究   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
为了探讨合欢皮提取物体内对血管生成的抑制作用。本文采用MTT法和Matrigel plug方法考察合欢皮提取物对人血管内皮细胞(HMEC)增殖和体内Matrigel胶小管形成的影响,运用Lewis肺癌转移小鼠模型,观察合欢皮提取物对小鼠Lewis肺癌的疗效。结果表明合欢皮提取物可明显抑制HMEC细胞的体外增殖(IC50为30μg/mL),并且呈明显的剂量依赖性,同时具有抑制Matrigel plug中的血管新生的作用。合欢皮提取物还能够明显抑制Lewis肺癌肿瘤细胞生长,减少转移病灶。提示合欢皮提取物具有明显抑制血管生成的作用,有可能成为有效的血管生成抑制剂。  相似文献

The structures of four new diastereoisomeric triterpenoidal saponins Julibroside J5, J8, J12 and J13 (1-4) isolated from Albizia julibrissin Durazz. (Leguminosae) have been determined on the basis of comprehensive spectroscopic analysis and chemical degradation. Julibroside, J8 and J13 showed marked cytotoxic activities against Bel-7402 cancer cell line at 100 microg/mL.  相似文献

为探讨合欢花对慢性应激大鼠生长和脑单胺类神经递质的影响,采用15只大鼠,设置了对照组、应激组和合欢花组3组实验。应激组和合欢花组均接受7天的应激刺激,之后合欢花组再灌胃合欢花10天。实验结束后,取3组大鼠的脑组织,用高效液相色谱法测定高香草酸(HVA)、去甲肾上腺素(NE)、多巴胺(DA)和5-羟色胺(5-HT)的含量。结果表明,应激组大鼠日增重显著低于对照组(P=0.011);而合欢花组大鼠的日增重极显著高于应激组(P=0.002)。应激组大鼠海马、纹状体和前额叶中的HVA含量与对照组相比,虽有升高的趋势,但无显著差异;两组间的NE、DA和5-HT也无显著差异。合欢花组大鼠海马中的HVA、DA含量明显高于应激组,而前额叶中的多巴胺和5-羟色胺,以及纹状体中的5-羟色胺均明显低于应激组。这表明合欢花对慢性应激引起的大鼠生长受抑有缓解作用,对其脑内单胺类神经递质有调节作用。  相似文献

本文采用体外细胞培养法和体内鸡胚尿囊绒膜模型、荷瘤模型检测合欢皮提取物抑制人微血管内皮细胞(HMEC-1)的增殖、迁移活性,观察合欢皮提取物的抑制血管生成情况。发现合欢皮提取物能显著抑制HMEC-1的增殖(IC50为30μg/mL)和迁移,并且呈明显的剂量依赖性。在体内同时具有抑制鸡胚尿囊膜和肿瘤组织中血管生成的作用。  相似文献
