Description of a new species of Petalopthalmus (Mysidacea) with a revised definition of the genus

A new species of Petalopthalmus, P. australis is described.This species can be easily distinguished from its congenersby the broad antennal scale whose outer margin is straight andnaked. A key for the identification of Petalopthalmus spp. isalso included.     

Descriptions of five new species of Haplostylus (Mysidacea-Crustacea) from South West Australia

Five new species, Haplostylus flagelliforma sp. nov., H.similissp. nov., H.multispinosus sp. nov., H.uthupus sp. nov. and H.disparsp. nov., are described from the south-west coast of Australia.These new species are distinguishable from each other and fromthe other allied species by the structure of the pleopods ofthe male, and by the armature of the telson and the uropods.     

Rhopalophthalmus constrictus sp. nov. and Australomysis reubeni sp. nov. (Crustacea-Mysidacea) from south-west Australian waters

Two new species of mysids are described. Rhopalophthalmus constrictussp. nov. is unique in having a well-produced triangular rostralplate, pleural plates on the anterior five abdominal somitesand prominent constriction at the distal end of the telson.Australomysis reubeni sp. nov. is distinguished by its rostrum,telson, fourth male pleopod and modified setae on the carpopropodalsegment.     

Two new species of Anisomysis (Crustacea-Mysidacea) from the Lakshadweep archipelago

Two new species of Mysidacea belonging to the genus Anisomysisare described from the Lakshadweep archipelago. Anisomysis spinatais characterized by a deeply cleft telson and is unique in havinga spine on the endopod of uropod. The broadly truncate apexof the telson and the stout apical spines are the distinctivecharacters of A.truncata.     

Two new species belonging to the genus Anisomysis (Crustacea, Mysidacea) and a new record of Anisomysis bipartoculata from the Indian Ocean

This paper deals with three species of the genus Anisomysiscollected from the South West coast of Australia of which A.gracilis and A. robustispina are new to science and A. bipanocularais reported for the first time from the Indian Ocean.     

Mysidacea (Crustacea) from the Minicoy lagoon (Lakshadweep, India) with description of a new species of Anisomysis

Four species of mysids collected from the Minicoy lagoon are reported. Anisomysis minicoyensis sp. nov. is distinguished from the related species by the shape of the rostrum, the relative length of the antennal scale and the short protuberances on the second segment of the mandibular palp. The other three species recorded are Siriella australiensis, Anisomysis truncata and unidentified species of subfamily Gastrosaccinae.     

New mysids from the South Australian coastal waters: Paranchialina secunda sp. nov.; Leptomysis longisquama sp. nov. and Doxomysis johnsoni sp. nov.

Three new species are described, Paranchialina secunda. Leptomysislongisquama and Doxomysis johnsoni from the coastal waters ofSouth West Australia.
