A novel hexanickel(II) complex [Ni6(NCCHCH2CH2CHCN)6] (2) with 1,4-dicyanobutane-1,4-diyl (L) which was produced by the metal-induced dimerization of acrylonitrile (AN) has been isolated and the structure has been determined crystallographically. Complex 2 is triclinic, space group . Each nickel atom is coordinated by two carbon atoms of L and two nitrogen atoms of the cyano group of two other L, providing a square-plenar geometry. The six nickel atoms are bridged by the cyano group and carbon atom to form the slightly distorted octahedral Ni6 core. 相似文献

We successfully established a spontaneously cisplatin-resistant tumor cell line (designated as IGSK-1) derived from original gastric carcinoma. The patient was a 75-year-old Japanese woman. The histopathological diagnosis was gastric poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma accompanied with metastatic foci in lymph nodes, pT3, N2 M0, stage IIIB. The IGSK-1 cells grew as adhesive and monolayered cultures on the bottom of dishes. The susceptibility of the IGSK-1 cells to anti-cancer drugs was examined using oxygen electrode apparatus (Daikin, Tsukuba, JPN), and the results suggested TXL was effective, and CDDP, CPT-11 and 5-FU were not effective. Gastrin and somatostatin secretions were confirmed by immunohistochemical staining and also radioimmunoassay. Immunohistochemistry and radioimmunoassay for serotonin suggested the IGSK-1 cells might incorporate serotonin from the growth media. Spontaneously cisplatin-resistant gastric carcinoma cell line secreted gastrin and somatostatin is very important material for chemotherapy. 相似文献

Coordination polymers of [2.2]paracyclophane (pcp) with in situ silver(I) perfluoro-dicarboxylates characterized by single crystal X-ray analysis are described. Structures are found to strongly depend on the dicarboxylate spacer (n). With disilver(I) tetrafluorosuccinate ((CF2)n(COOAg)2, n = 2), 3D network with composition of [Ag4(pcp)(C2F4(CO2)2)2] (1) forms in which silver salts afford infinite double chains and pcp act as linkages between chains. Changing the silver salt to disilver hexafluoroglutarate ((CF2)n(COOAg)2, n = 3) produces 3D pillared-layer structure of composition of [Ag4(pcp)(C3F6(CO2)2)2] · THF (2) (THF = tetrahydrofuran), in which silver salts form 2D sheets and pcp act as pillars between the sheets. With silver octafluoroadipate (HO2C(CF2)nCO2Ag, n = 4), 2-fold interpenetrated diamond structure, [Ag2(pcp)2(HO2CC4F8CO2)2]2 · 2toluene (3), is obtained in which silver-anion chains and silver-pcp chains are connected with each other in the perpendicular manner. The three complexes represent unprecedented metal-organic networks of silver(I) multicarboxylates and polycyclic aromatic compounds. The biosynthetic pathway of capsinoid in 'CH-19 Sweet' was investigated. [(3)H]Valine and [(14)C]phenylalanine were injected into the fruits of the intact plant. Both of radioactivities were detected in capsinoid fractions. (14)C radioactivity was observed in phenylpropanoid compounds, and in vanillin, vanillylamine, vanillyl alcohol, and vanillic acid. Two new one-dimensional Fe(II)-bis-Schiff base complexes, [Fe(L1)(pyz)] · CH2Cl2 (1) and [Fe(L2)(pyz)] · 2CH2Cl2 (2) (H2L1 = bis(O-vanillin)-O-phenylenediimine, H2L2 = bis(O-vanillin)-2,3-naphthalenediimine, pyz = pyrazine) are reported with their crystal structures and magnetic property. Compound 1 shows a two-step SCO behavior while 2 shows HS at all the temperature range measured. Although the extension of aromatic moiety from benzene (L1) to naphthalene (L2) was introduced for the purpose of strengthening the cooperativity, it leads to the absence of SCO, due to the unanticipated π–π interaction, which leads to the longer Fe–N bond lengths and a weak ligand field around Fe(II) ion. 相似文献

Mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) show a very short proliferative life span and readily lose the differentiation potential in culture. However, the growth rate and the proliferative life span of the stem cells markedly increased using tissue culture dishes coated with a basement membrane-like extracellular matrix, which was produced by PYS-2 cells or primary endothelial cells. Furthermore, the stem cells expanded on the extracellular matrix, but not those on plastic tissue culture dishes, retained the osteogenic, chondrogenic, and adipogenic potential throughout many mitotic divisions. The extracellular matrix had greater effects on the proliferation of MSC and the maintenance of the multi-lineage differentiation potential than basic fibroblast growth factor. Mesenchymal stem cells expanded on the extracellular matrix should be useful for regeneration of large tissue defects and repeated cell therapies, which require a large number of stem or progenitor cells. 相似文献

Two inter-related challenges must be overcome to develop a recombinant human serum albumin process. One is purity; the other is cost. Regarding cost, our goal is to produce recombinant human serum albumin at least as economically as plasma derived human serum albumin. To control production costs, maximum quantities of albumin must be produced from minimum volumes of cell culture, followed by high efficiency, high-yield purification methods. By introducing STREAMLINE technology, we have improved productivity by roughly 50% in terms of processing time and 45% in terms of yield. Furthermore, the life time of the gel and column are very long. After more than 1000 process cycles, performance remained unchanged. 相似文献
