Spectral, coherent, and phase analysis within the low-frequency range of ECG records of athletic runners revealed that oscillations of ECG intervals (PQ-, RT-, P–T-, TP, and PP-intervals) were observed during orthostasis. These data were compared with the results of athletic exercise tests performed after the ECG examination. It was shown that the most effective type of adaptive reaction in these tests corresponds to a phase advance of the PQ-interval oscillations relative to the RT-interval oscillations. In the low-frequency range, the phases of the PQ-, RT-, and (P–T)-interval oscillations were ahead of the TP-interval oscillations, whereas the spectral density of the TP interval oscillations was significantly higher than the spectral density of the oscillations of the PC-, RT-, and (P–T)-intervals measured at the same frequency. The least effective type of adaptive reaction was shown to correlate with the phase advance of the TP-interval oscillations relative to the PQ-, RT-, and (P–T)-interval oscillations within the low-frequency range as well as with the lack of low-frequency modulation of the autospectra of the cardiac intervals of interest.  相似文献

Fluorescein mercury acetate (FMA), a fluorescent probe, is used for the investigation of SH-groups of thymocytes' plasma membrane. It is found that mitogenic lectin Con A decreases the amount of membrane SH-groups and increases the fluorescence polarization degree of FMA (PFMA). The value of PFMA increases also during the incubation of cells with potassium ferricyanide and H2O2 but it decreases in the presence of NADH. The analysis of the data permits a conclusion that the thymocyte activation by Con A results in the selective oxidation of certain SH-groups with the formation of disulphide cross-linking between the plasma membrane receptors bound with the lectin molecules.  相似文献

The three-dimensional structure of the nickel-containing hydrogenase from Thiocapsa roseopersicina has been determined at a resolution of 2 nm in the plane and 4 nm in the vertical direction by electron microscopy and computerized image processing on microcrystals of the enzyme. The enzyme forms a large ring-shaped complex containing six each of the large (62-kDa) and small (26-kDa) subunits. The complex is very open, with six well-separated dumbbell-shaped masses surrounding a large cylindrical hole. Each dumbbell is interpreted as consisting of one large and one small subunit.  相似文献

Distribution in mature human placenta of plasminogen, pregnancy-associated inhibitors of proteases (pregnancy-associated protein A (PAPP-A) and alpha 2--pregnancy-associated glycoprotein, and also of not associated with pregnancy alpha 2-macroglobulin and alpha 1-antitrypsin was examined. Primary monospecific antibodies and secondary antibodies labeled with colloid gold were used. Plasminogen was detected in the fetal and maternal blood, and also on the surface of some placental villi (as thin positively stained rims). Pregnancy-associated protease inhibitors were detected in the syncytium of the villi of all histological types and also in the fetal and maternal blood. Staining for alpha 2-macroglobulin was most intensive. This antigen was detected in the maternal and fetal blood and on the surface of the villi. alpha 2-antitrypsin was detected in the fetal and maternal blood. It has been shown that both free plasminogen and its inhibitors are retained on the surface of the placental villi.  相似文献

Hydrogen-producing thermophilic cellulolytic microorganisms were isolated from cow faeces. Rates of cellulose hydrolysis and hydrogen formation were 0.2 mM L-1 h-1 and 1 mM L-1 h-1, respectively. An enzymatic fuel cell (EFC) with a hydrogenase anode was used to oxidise hydrogen produced in a microbial bioreactor. The hydrogenase electrode was exposed for 38 days (912 h) to a thermophilic fermentation medium. The hydrogenase activity remaining after continuous operation under load was 73% of the initial value.  相似文献

The work was focused on the investigation of possible dependencies between the development of viral infection in plants and the presence of high heavy metal concentrations in soil. Field experiments have been conducted in order to study the development of systemic tobacco mosaic virus (TMV) infection in Lycopersicon esculentum L. cv. Miliana plants under effect of separate salts of heavy metals Cu, Zn and Pb deposited in soil. As it is shown, simultaneous effect of viral infection and heavy metals in tenfold maximum permissible concentration leads to decrease of total chlorophyll content in experiment plants mainly due to the degradation of chlorophyll a. The reduction of chlorophyll concentration under the combined influence of both stress factors was more serious comparing to the separate effect of every single factor. Plants' treatment with toxic concentrations of lead and zinc leaded to slight delay in the development of systemic TMV infection together with more than twofold increase of virus content in plants that may be an evidence of synergism between these heavy metal's and virus' effects. Contrary, copper although decreased total chlorophyll content but showed protective properties and significantly reduced amount of virus in plants.  相似文献

A hydrogen gas (H(2)) biosensor was developed in which hydrogenase (H(2)ase) was immobilized and sandwiched between two layers of a montmorillonite clay and poly(butylviologen) (PBV) mixture on a glass carbon electrode. The immobilized PBV efficiently enhanced the electron transfer among the electrode, H(2)ase, and methyl viologen in solution. Both PBV and methyl viologen acted as the electron carrier in the clay-PBV-H(2)ase modified electrode. The clay-PBV-H(2)ase electrode catalyzed the oxidation of H(2) to protons (H(+)) with the electrons being transferred by viologen groups to the electrode. The activation energy of this process was 38+/-2 kJ/mol at pH 7. The catalytic current of the clay-PBV-H(2)ase electrode increased linearly when exposed to increasing concentrations of H(2) gas. In contrast, this electrode showed no activity when exposed to three combustible compounds, namely, carbon monoxide, methane and methanol. The optimum pH range for the oxidation of H(2) by the clay-PBV-H(2)ase electrode was from 7 to 10. Electron transfer process in the clay-PBV-H(2)ase electrode is discussed.  相似文献

This report elucidates the distinctions of redox properties between two uptake hydrogenases in Escherichia coli. Hydrogen uptake in the presence of mediators with different redox potential was studied in cell-free extracts of E. coli mutants HDK103 and HDK203 synthesizing hydrogenase 2 or hydrogenase 1, respectively. Both hydrogenases mediated H(2) uptake in the presence of high-potential acceptors (ferricyanide and phenazine methosulfate). H(2) uptake in the presence of low-potential acceptors (methyl and benzyl viologen) was mediated mainly by hydrogenase 2. To explore the dependence of hydrogen consumption on redox potential of media in cell-free extracts, a chamber with hydrogen and redox ( E(h)) electrodes was used. The mutants HDK103 and HDK203 exhibited significant distinctions in their redox behavior. During the redox titration, maximal hydrogenase 2 activity was observed at the E(h) below -80 mV. Hydrogenase 1 had maximum activity in the E(h) range from +30 mV to +110 mV. Unlike hydrogenase 2, the activated hydrogenase 1 retained activity after a fast shift of redox potential up to +500 mV by ferricyanide titration and was more tolerant to O(2). Thus, two hydrogenases in E. coli are complementary in their redox properties, hydrogenase 1 functioning at higher redox potentials and/or at higher O(2) concentrations than hydrogenase 2.  相似文献

The experiments on dogs showed that Latranum, a selective blocker of serotonin 5-HT3-receptors, has a moderate capacity to modify emetic reaction caused by dophamin-stimulating action of Apomorphinum. These results, taking in account of our preliminary experimental data obtained by a model of early radiation-induced emetic reactions, show that the high antiemetic effect of Latranum may affect another mechanisms of the initiation of early radiation-inducing vomiting which do not connect immediately with the chemoreceptor trigger zone.  相似文献
