Stripe rust caused by Puccinia striiformis f.sp. tritici is the most serious disease of wheat globally including south‐eastern Anatolia of Turkey, where wheat originated. In this study, 12 spring wheat genotypes were artificially inoculated and preserved in two locations, Diyarbak?r and Ad?yaman, during the 2011–2012 season to investigate loss in yield and yield components. Genotypes were evaluated at the adult plant stage using two partial resistance parameters: final disease severity and area under the disease progress curve (AUDPC). AUDPC ranged from 14.8 to 860 in Diyarbak?r, and 74 to 760 in Ad?yaman. Yield loss ranged from 0.6 to 68.5% in Diyarbak?r and 9.8 to 56.8% in Ad?yaman. Genotypes G1, G5, G7 and G8 were found to lose less yield, while higher yield loss was observed in G3, G4 (Nurkent), G5 and G9 (Karacada?‐98). The highest loss in thousand kernel weight was observed in a susceptible cultivar Karacada?‐98 in Diyarbak?r followed by 43.4 and 24.4% in Ad?yaman. Test weight loss reached 8.89% in Diyarbak?r and 20.8% in Ad?yaman. Yield loss and AUDPC had a positive significant relationship. Based on the values of AUDPC, final disease severity and yield loss, three major clusters were formed for 12 wheat genotypes. Partially resistant genotypes were found to lose less grain yield and seemed to be stronger against severe stripe rust pressure.  相似文献

Mature embryos of einkorn (Triticum monococcum ssp. monococcum) and bread (Triticum aestivum L.) wheat were used for callus induction on media containing four different doses (0, 1, 2 and 4 mg L?1) of 2,4-D and dicamba supplemented with five different boron concentrations (0, 6.2, 12.4, 24.8, and 37.2 mg L?1). The obtained callus was transferred to culture media with three (0, 0.5, and 2 mg L?1) different BAP doses with five boron concentrations for further regeneration. The maximum callus weight in einkorn wheat was in culture media with 1 mg L?1 dicamba and 6.2 mg L?1 (3.71?±?0.13 g). Bread wheat had the maximum callus weight on culture media with 4 mg L?1 dicamba and 12.4 mg L?1 (3.46?±?0.40 g). The highest plantlet numbers were in only 2 mg L?1 BAP (2.92?±?0.88) for einkorn wheat and 0.5 mg L?1 BAP supplemented with 6.2 mg L?1 boron (3.71?±?1.12) for bread wheat. This indirect regeneration protocol using mature embryos of einkorn and bread wheat under boron stresses expected to be useful for future wheat breeding studies.

Résumé Nous avons étudiés les effets toxiques de l'accumulation de l'étain et du plomb sur les G. pulex d'eau douce et les G. locusta (Crustacés: Amphipodes) marin.Les expériences ont été faites dans des solutions de métaux d'eau douce et d'eau marine. Les concentrations de métal utilisées sont de 10 ppm, de 1 ppm et de 0.1 ppm. Les résultats nous ont montrés que les solutions de plomb sont plus toxique que les solutions de l'étain et les G. locusta sont plus sensibles que les G. pulex.Les valeurs de l'accumulation de métal ont été determinées par spectrographie des rayons X. Pour les deux espèces, une grande accumulation d'étain a été rencontrée dans le système digestif, la cuticule et l'hemolymphe et une accumulation de plomb a été rencontré dans le système digestif et la cuticule.
The effects of tin (SnCl4.5H2O) and lead [Pb(NO3)2] on Gammarus pulex (L.) and Gammarus locusta (L.) have been studied. Three differents solutions (10 ppm, 1 ppm, 0.1 ppm) were applied for two metals. Lead was found to be more toxic than tin. The residues of metals in the organes and tissues of two species were determined by X ray spectrophotometry.
