A novel biocatalytic reaction of transamidation of non-activated amides with amines is reported. Among 45 different lipolytic and proteolytic enzymes tested, only the lipase from Candida antarcticawas able to catalyze this reaction. The reaction proceeded with up to ca. 80% conversion in anhydrous methyl tert-butyl ether and worked with both N-substituted and unsubstituted amides. The biocatalytic transamidation is an equilibrium process and, therefore, higher conversions to the desired amide were achieved by using increased concentrations of the amine nucleophile. 相似文献

Bac. subtilis 168 (BD-25) cells were infected with DNA of plasmide R1drd19 isolated from E. coli strain; transformants resistant to streptomycin (500 microgram/ml) and kanamycin (40 microgram/ml) appeared with the frequency of 2.10(-6). These transformants retained resistance to the mentioned antibiotics stably. A satellite DNA peak was revealed in centrifugation in the density gradient of cesium chloride with ethidium bromide. It was possible to infect cells of Bac. subtilis 168 (BD-25) with plasmide DNA isolated from the transformants. Plasmide transduction with the aid of phages AR9 and PBSI multiplied on the transformant strains was also effected. Physico-chemical analysis of the transformed plasmide DNA was conducted; its molecular weight was determined. 相似文献

Summary High yields of protoplasts were obtained from leaves of aseptically grown plants and calli originated from different explants, in several cultivars of Cajanus cajan L. The protoplasts divided to form cell clusters in modified KM 8p medium and developed to protocolonies after dilution with liquid Caboche's medium within three to four weeks of culture. The protocolonies proliferated to form green calli on solid Caboche's medium. No shoots or plants were obtained.Abbreviations BAP

Multiple attractors,catastrophes and chaos in seasonally perturbed predator-prey communities 总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
A classical predator-prey model is considered in this paper with reference to the case of periodically varying parameters.
Six elementary seasonality mechanisms are identified and analysed in detail by means of a continuation technique producing
complete bifurcation diagrams. The results show that each elementary mechanism can give rise to multiple attractors and that
catastrophic transitions can occur when suitable parameters are slightly changed. Moreover, the two classical routes to chaos,
namely, torus destruction and cascade of period doublings, are numerically detected. Since in the case of constant parameters
the model cannot have multiple attractors, catastrophes and chaos, the results support the conjecture that seasons can very

Five singly modified nitrodiazirine derivatives of neurotoxin II (NT-II) fromNaja naja oxiana were obtained after NT-II reaction with N-hydroxysuccinimide ester of {2-nitro-4 [3-(trifluoromethyl)-3H-diazirin-3yl]phenoxy}acetic acid followed by Chromatographic separation of the products. To localize the label positions, each derivative was first UV-irradiated and then subjected to reduction, carboxymethylation, and trypsinolysis. Tryptic digests were separated by reversed phase-HPLC, the labeled peptides being identified by mass spectrometry. The derivatives containing the photolabel at the position Lys 25, Lys 26, Lys 44, or Lys 46 were [125I]iodinated by the chloramine T procedure. Each iodinated derivative was found to form photoinduced cross-links with the membrane bound nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (AChR) fromTorpedo californica. The pattern of labeling the receptor's, , , or subunits was dependent on the photolabel position in the NT-II molecule and differed from that obtained earlier with an analogous series ofp-azidobenzoyl derivatives of NT-II. The results obtained indicate that (i) different sides of the neurotoxin molecule are involved in the AChR binding, and (ii) fragments of the different AChR subunits are located close together at the neurotoxin-binding sites.Abbreviations AChR

Summary Synaptic connections were studied by means of electron microscopy in the sensory pineal organ of the ayu, Plecoglossus altivelis, a highly photosensitive teleost species. Three types of specific contacts were observed in the pineal end-vesicle: 1) symmetrically organized gap junctions between the basal processes of adjacent photoreceptor cells; 2) sensory synapses endowed with synaptic ribbons, formed by basal processes of photoreceptor cells and dendrites of pineal neurons; 3) conventional synapses between pineal neurons, containing both clear and dense-core vesicles at the presynaptic site. Based on these findings, the following interpretations are given: (i) The gap junctions may be involved in an enhancement of electric communication and signal encoding between pineal photoreceptor cells. (ii) The sensory synapses transmit photic signals from the photoreceptor cells to pineal nerve cells. (iii) The conventional synapses are assumed to be involved in a lateral interaction and/or summation of information in the sensory pineal organ. Visible and infrared spectra of bacteriorhodopsin films under different humidities at room and low temperatures are investigated. On dehydration of purple membranes at room temperatures an additional chromophore state with the absorption band at 506 nm is revealed. The photocycle of purple membranes in the dry state is devoid of the 550 nm intermediate and involves the long-lived intermediate at 412 nm. As water is removed, the 550 nm intermediate becomes undetectable. The analysis of the infrared spectra shows that dehydration does not affect the ordering of the main network of the interpeptide hydrogen bonds which stabilizes the -helical conformation (slightly distorted in the initial humid dark- and light-adapted state); light adaptation (cis-trans isomerization) of bacteriorhodopsin results in an increase of sorbed water in purple membranes. Dehydration of purple membranes decreases the reaction rate of cis-trans isomerization. 相似文献
