International hospital-based studies have indicated a high risk of cognitive impairment after stroke, evidence from community-based studies in China is scarce. To determine the prevalence of post-stroke cognitive impairment (PSCI) and its subtypes in stroke survivors residing in selected rural and urban Chinese communities, we conducted a community-based, cross-sectional study in 599 patients accounting for 48% of all stroke survivors registered in the 4 communities, who had suffered confirmed strokes and had undergone cognitive assessments via the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE), and Hachinski Ischemia Scale (HIS). Detection of PSCI was based on scores in these neuropsychological scales. Factors potentially impacting on occurrence of PSCI were explored by comparing demographic characteristics, stroke features, and cardiovascular risk factors between patients with and without PSCI. The overall prevalence of PSCI was 80.97% (95%CI: 77.82%-84.11%), while that of non-dementia PSCI (PSCI-ND) and post-stroke vascular dementia (PSD) was 48.91% (95%CI: 44.91%-52.92%) and 32.05% (95%CI: 28.32%-35.79%), respectively. Prior stroke and complications during the acute phase were independent risk factors for PSCI. The risk of recurrent stroke survivors having PSCI was 2.7 times higher than for first-episode survivors, and it was 3 times higher for those with complications during the acute phase than for those without. The higher prevalence of PSCI in this study compared with previous Chinese studies was possibly due to the combined effects of including rural stroke survivors, a longer period from stroke onset, and different assessment methods. There is an urgent need to recognize and prevent PSCI in stroke patients, especially those with recurrent stroke and complications during the acute phase.  相似文献

Highly polymorphic microsatellite loci offer great promise for gene mapping studies, but fulfillment of this potential will require substantial improvements in methods for accurate and efficient genotyping. Here, we report a genotyping method based on fluorescently labeled PCR primers and size characterization of PCR products using an automated DNA fragment analyzer. We capitalize on the availability of three distinct fluorescent dyes to label uniquely loci that overlap in size, and this innovation increases by threefold the number of loci that can be analyzed simultaneously. We label size standards with a fourth dye and combine these with the microsatellite PCR products in each gel lane. Computer programs provide very rapid and accurate sizing of microsatellite alleles and efficient data management. In addition, fluorescence signals are linear over a much greater range of intensity than conventional autoradiography. This facilitates multiplexing of loci (since signal intensities often vary greatly) and helps distinguish major peaks from artifacts, thereby improving genotyping accuracy.  相似文献

对原产于墨西哥的8个陆地棉半野生种系进行了核型分析。其根尖细胞的染色体数目均为52。“墨西哥棉”、“阔叶棉”、“帕默尔氏棉”和“尖斑棉”为1B 核型。其中以“墨西哥棉”最为原始,2n=4x=52=44m(6SAT) 8sm。“尤卡坦棉”、“玛利加郎特棉”、“莫利尔氏棉”和“雷奇蒙德氏棉”为2B 核型。其中以后两个种系最进化,2n=4x=52=32m(2或4SAT) 20sm。讨论了各种系之间的可能的演化关系。  相似文献

近年来,肝炎发病率高,青叶胆(Swertia mileensis)因此被大量采挖,野生青叶胆资源逐年减少。为发掘新药源,我们对云南产狭叶獐牙菜(S.angustifolia)和显脉獐牙菜(S.nervasa)的化学成分进行了研究。本文报道从中分离鉴定的4个单萜环烯醚甙Ⅰ—Ⅳ。Ⅰ、Ⅲ、Ⅳ分别为维哥罗甙(vegeloside)、獐牙菜甙(sweroside)和獐牙菜苦甙(swertiamarin),Ⅱ是Ⅰ的同分异构体,命名为显脉獐牙菜甙(nervoside)。显脉獐牙菜甙(Ⅱ)白色无定形粉末,味极苦。UVλ-_(max)~(EtOH):243nm(log ε-3.89)。IR v_(max)~(KBr) cm~(-1):3400、1700和1610,显示单萜环烯醚的特征吸收峰显脉獐牙菜;显脉獐牙菜甙;单萜环烯醚甙  相似文献

Ubc13 is required for Lys63-linked polyubiquitination and innate immune responses in mammals, but its functions in plant immunity still remain largely unknown. Here, we used molecular biological, pathological, biochemical, and genetic approaches to evaluate the roles of rice OsUbc13 in response to pathogens. The OsUbc13-RNA interference (RNAi) lines with lesion mimic phenotypes displayed a significant increase in the accumulation of flg22- and chitin-induced reactive oxygen species, and in defence-related genes expression or hormones as well as resistance to Magnaporthe oryzae and Xanthomonas oryzae pv oryzae. Strikingly, OsUbc13 directly interacts with OsSnRK1a, which is the α catalytic subunit of SnRK1 (sucrose non-fermenting-1-related protein kinase-1) and acts as a positive regulator of broad-spectrum disease resistance in rice. In the OsUbc13-RNAi plants, although the protein level of OsSnRK1a did not change, its activity and ABA sensitivity were obviously enhanced, and the K63-linked polyubiquitination was weaker than that of wild-type Dongjin (DJ). Overexpression of the deubiquitinase-encoding gene OsOTUB1.1 produced similar effects with inhibition of OsUbc13 in affecting immunity responses, M. oryzae resistance, OsSnRK1a ubiquitination, and OsSnRK1a activity. Furthermore, re-interfering with OsSnRK1a in one OsUbc13-RNAi line (Ri-3) partially restored its M. oryzae resistance to a level between those of Ri-3 and DJ. Our data demonstrate OsUbc13 negatively regulates immunity against pathogens by enhancing the activity of OsSnRK1a.  相似文献

Seasonal population dynamics of Puraquzmperia tenerrima (Linstow) in the European eel Anguillu anguillu (Linnaeus) have been investigated in three localities in Devon, southwest England. The nematode is common and exhibits very similar seasonal patterns in changes of prevalence and abundance in the three localities. The population increases over winter through to late spring or early summer as the recruitment of the new generation occurs throughout this period. Reproduction of the nematode starts in spring. A sharp decrease of prevalence and abundance accompanies or follows reproduction, and infection levels are very low in autumn and early winter. The dispersion pattern of the nematode varies with the infection levels from over-dispersion in spring and early summer to almost random dispersion in autumn and winter. It is suggested that P. tenerrimu is a common specific parasite of eels, especially in small streams or rivers and that insect larvae or species of crustaceans might serve as intermediate hosts for the nematode.  相似文献

1990~1992年间对杭州市郊区青菜上桃蚜(Myzuspersicae)、萝卜蚜(Lipaphiserysimi)及其混合种群的田间近100组调查数据,利用每样方(株)虫口不超过数阈值T(分别为0、1、5、10、20、30、40)头蚜虫的植株比例(PT)与种群密度(m,头·株-1)的关系,通过拟合经验公式ln(m)=a+bln[-ln(PT)]而设计的二项式抽样.通过对三者不同数阈值(T)的回归决定系数(r2)、种群密度的回归估计方差(Var(m))、抽样精度(以d表示)和实际应用等的比较,结果表明当桃蚜种群处于较高密度即m≥10时,其理想的T值为30;当萝卜蚜种群处于较高密度即m≥5时,其理想的T值为10;而它们的混合种群未得到其理想的T值.数阈值T为30和10可分别用于桃蚜和萝卜蚜的二项式抽样设计.而传统的二项式抽样即0~1抽样由于应用于小白菜上菜蚜的抽样设计时产生很大的误差,不宜采用.  相似文献
