An acute dysentery process was studied in 100 children at the age of 1 to 14 years treated with monomycin; 54 patients (the 1st group) were treated with monomycin in combination with eleuterococcus and 46 patients (the 2nd group) were treated with monomycin alone. The dysentery process in the both groups was close. However, the increase in the levels of gamma-globulin, antidysentery antibodies and the phases of changes in the index of phagocytosis completeness during the disease were more pronounced in the patients of the 2nd group than those in the children of the 1st group. Recovery of the patients of the 1st group was registered earlier. It was concluded that eleuterococcus as an adaptagen provided recovery of the patients at lower efforts of the protection mechanisms. Wide use of eleuterococcus in combination with monomycin for the treatment of children with dysentery is recommended.  相似文献

Small amounts of a mixture of fatty acid short‐chain‐alkyl esters (FASCAEs) were obtained from the fruits of twelve plant species of Celastraceae family, and in five of them the FASCAEs were present not only in the arils but also in the seeds. These mixtures contained 32 individual FASCAE species, which formed four separate fractions, viz. FA methyl, ethyl, isopropyl, and butyl esters (FAMEs, FAEEs, FAIPEs, and FABEs, resp.). The FASCAE acyl components included the residues of 16 individual C14–C24 saturated, mono‐, di‐, and trienoic FAs. Linoleic, oleic, and palmitic acids, and, in some cases, also α‐linolenic acid predominated in FAMEs and FAEEs, while myristic acid was predominant in FAIPEs. It can be suggested that, in the fruit arils of some plant species, FAMEs and FAEEs were formed at the expense of a same FA pool characteristic of a given species and were strongly different from FAIPEs and FABEs esters regarding the mechanism of their biosynthesis. However, as a whole, the qualitative and quantitative composition of various FASCAE fractions, as well as their FA composition, varied considerably depending on various factors. Therefore, separate FASCAE fractions seem to be synthesized from different FA pools other than those used for triacylglycerol formation.  相似文献

One hundred and ninety one children with acute Sonne and Flexner dysentery were observed with respect to the disease process, immunity indices and blood serum fatty acid spectrum. 104 children were treated with monomycin alone and 87 children were treated with the antibiotic in combination with prodigiozan and ephedrine as immunostimulators. It was shown that the recovery terms in the patients treated with the use of the immunostimulators decreased as compared to the patients treated with the antibiotic alone. The fatty acid spectrum in the children treated with the use of the immunostimulators differed from that in the children treated without them by low levels of fatty acids of the C12:0 to C18:1 composition.  相似文献

5-Bromo-2[(2-iodoacetyl)amino]benzenesulfonic acid (AIBSA), a reagent for modification of free of cysteine thiol groups in proteins and peptides, was synthesized. Rate constants of its interaction with thiol groups were determined. The presence of a bromine atom allows an easy identification of the AIBSA-labeled peptides in mass spectra due to the characteristic isotope distribution. To detect point mutations A2115C, A2143G/C, and A2143G in the 23S rRNA gene of Helicobacter pylori associated with resistance of the microorganism to clarithromycin, a new powerful way of analysis was used. This method involved the reaction of minisequencing followed by MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry of reaction products. In ten analyzed clarithromycin-resistant clinical isolates of H. pylori obtained in Russia, the resistance was found to be mediated only by mutation A2144G in the 23S rRNA gene.  相似文献

The effect of boron availability on the content of fatty acids (FA) in the total lipids of needles was investigated in two-year-old seedlings of Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris L.). The study was conducted in the forest nursery on the soil deficient in boron. Various rates of boric acid (0.01, 0.03, 0.1, 0.3, 1, 3, and 10 g/m2) were applied to soil three times throughout the growth period. When pine seedlings were supplied with extra boron, the lipid content of the seedling needles declined. The optimal boron supply elevated the content of saturated FA in total needle lipids mostly at the expense of palmitic acid, with a corresponding decline in the level of unsaturated FA and unsaturation index of FA owing to trienoic FA (mainly linolenic and hexadecatrienoic acids). At the same time, the level of monoenoic and to a lesser degree dienoic acids increased. When boron supply of the seedlings was not optimal, the content of unsaturated and low-molecular FA increased.  相似文献
