Seasonal dynamics and demographic structure was studied in 15 dominant ground beetle species in the mountain taiga and mountain forest-steppe belts of the Eastern Sayan (Okinskoe Plateau). Life cycles of the dominant ground beetle species were classified by developmental time, seasonal dynamics, and intrapopulation groups with different reproduction timing. A method for isolation of guinea-pig cardiomyocytes with pronase has been developed. The method has been assessed in hearts perfused with solutions containing pronase (1 U/ml) and 200 microM Ca2+. Eighty per cent of the cells released were rod-shaped and 1.2 mM Ca2+ tolerant. Enriched medium 199 was used for all solutions. Sodium and slow inward currents recorded from cells dispersed with pronase were similar to those recorded from cells isolated after prolonged exposure to collagenase. Two principal factors are to be marked: (a) presence of high enough amounts of Ca2+ in enzyme solution (up to 200 microM); (b) use of the enriched medium in all the stages of the procedure. 相似文献

The efficacy of lipid peroxidation inhibition by the natural antioxidant alpha-tocopherol and 2,2,5,7,8-pentamethyl-6-hydroxy-chromane (PMC), a derivative without hydrocarbon tail, as well as by the synthetic antioxidant 4-methyl-2,6-diterbutyl phenol (BHT) and its phospholipid derivative was studied in the membranes of rat liver microsomes and mitochondria. The presence of hydrocarbon tail in the antioxidant molecule determines the decrease of antioxidant efficiency in biomembranes. PMC and BHT exert a destructive effect on biomembranes, leading to an increase in their permeability to ions. This evidence suggests that the presence of hydrocarbon tail in the molecules of natural antioxidants provides not only for a relatively high antioxidant efficiency but also for a structural stability of biomembranes. 相似文献

The photolysis of humic acids and phenols in water containing humic acids was investigated. Humic acids extracted from peat (Vasuygan Bog, Tomsk Region, Russian Federation) induce the phototransformation of 4-chlorophenol at 365 and 222 nm. Humic acids were characterized by UV-, fluorescence-, IR- and EPR-spectroscopy and laser-induced fluorescence. The influence of humic acids on the phototransformation of phenols in different irradiation conditions was investigated. Comparison of the data on mercury lamp irradiation showed that the most effective phenols degradation was observed under exposure to KrCl* exilamp light (lambda = 222 nm) in the presence of humic acids. 相似文献
