Effects of various temperatures on the rates of electron transport between two photosystems, the light-induced uptake of protons, kinetics of proton efflux from the chloroplasts in the dark and photophosphorylation were studied in isolated chloroplasts. There are correlations between the physical state of thylakoid membrane and the rates of electron- and proton transport processes. The temperature dependence of "structural" parameter (fluidity of lipids in membrane) as well as the rates of electron- and proton transport processes reveal the breaks under the same temperatures. Stimulation of photophosphorylation by temperature increasing correlates with the heat activation of chloroplasts latent ATPase due to thermoinduced structural changes in the heat activation of chloroplasts latent ATPase due to thermoinduced structural changes in the protein part of CF0-CF1 complex. The rate of photophosphorylation also correlates with the physical state of membrane lipids. Thermoinduced "melting" of the thylakoid membrane inhibits the ATP formation because of a decrease in photosystem 2 photochemical activity and stimulation of membrane conductivity for protons.  相似文献

The formation of nitric oxide radicals in the organs of Wistar rats was studied by the ESR method using ferrous-diethyldithiocarbamate complexes as an NO spin trap. It was found that, under the conditions of CCl4-induced hepatosis, a 4.32-5.46-fold increase in the concentrations of NO radical spin adducts in the samples of heart and liver, correspondingly, occurs. After preliminary intraperoral introduction of quercetin and hesperidin, this effect was not observed. Thus, the flavonoids quercetin and hesperidin exert a distinct antioxidant action, substantialy suppressing the hepatosis-induced increase in the intensity of NO radical generation.  相似文献

The level of nitric oxide production in the intact rabbit organism was studied using the water-soluble complex of Fe3+ with MGD as a selective spin trap for nitric oxide. The Fe(3+)-MGD3 complex was injected intravenously. It was shown by the EPR method that this injection resulted in the formation of paramagnetic complexes in the urine, as Cu(2+)-MGD2, and nitric oxide spin adducts: nitric oxide-Fe(2+)-MGD2 and nitric oxide-Fe(3+)-MGD2. The level of nitric oxide production was estimated by the ratio of the total amount of these adducts to the nitric oxide-Fe(2+)-MGD2 level, formed after the addition of excessive S-nitrosoglutathione. This value for intact animals was 1.33 +/- 0.13%.  相似文献

The effect of atrial natriuretic factor (ANF) synthetic linear truncated analogues AP-H-6-OH and AP-FOR-6-OH on corneal, skin, duodenum and colon epithelium proliferation has been studied on male rats. The epithelium mitotic activity and DNA synthesis were evaluated 4 and 24 h after intraperitoneal injection of 10 or 100 micrograms/kg peptides. In a dose of 10 micrograms/kg both ANF synthetic analogues inhibited proliferation processes in corneal epithelium, but activated the DNA synthesis in duodenum and colon epithelium. AP-FOR-6-OH (10 micrograms/kg) decreased the mitotic activity of skin epithelium and increased the silver grain density over the cell nuclei at the same time. 100 micrograms/kg ANF analogues stimulated cell mitogenesis in all organs studied. According to the data obtained ANF linear truncated analogues influence on epithelium proliferation is similar to effector of previously studied cyclic atriopeptin AP II.  相似文献

Concentrations of aluminium, cadmium, chromium, cobalt, copper, iron, lead, nickel and zinc were determined in surface water, benthic sediments, and the gills, liver and stomach muscle tissues of Oreochromis niloticus and Clarias gariepinus in peri-urban lakes Chivero and Manyame, Zimbabwe. Five sites were sampled in each lake once per month in November 2015, February, May, August and November 2016. Pollution load index detected no metal contamination, whereas the geo-accumulation index reflected heavy to extreme sediment pollution, with Fe, Cd, Zn, Cr, Ni and Cu present in both lakes. Significant spatial temporal variations were detected for Al, Cr, Cu and Pb across sites within and between the two lakes. High Fe, Al and Cr concentrations in water and sediments in lakes Chivero and Manyame derive from geogenic background sources in addition to anthropogenic loads and intensity. Elevated concentrations of Al, Pb, Cu, Cd, Fe and Zn detected in gills, liver and stomach tissue of catfish corroborate concentrations in water and sediments, and pose the highest ecological and health risk for hydrobionts in lakes Chivero and Manyame. Contiguity of peri-urban lakes exposes them to similar threats, necessitating creative water management strategies, which ensure ecological continuity.  相似文献

It was found that microdialysis, i.e., passage of aqueous solutions of iron-N-methyl-d-glucamine dithiocarbamate complexes through dialysis fibers implanted into heart, kidney and liver tissues of narcotized rats, was accompanied by effective binding of the complexes to nitric oxide from interstitial fluid. The walls of dialysis fibers used in this study were permeable for compounds with molecular weight not exceeding 5 kDa. The dialyzate samples collected every 20 min and containing diamagnetic nitrosyl Fe3+-MGD adducts were reduced to the paramagnetic state with sodium dithionite; their concentration was measured by the EPR method. The basic level of the adducts, which represented mononitrosyl iron complexes with MGD (MNIC–MGD), in the dialyzate samples of all tested organs were similar (1 μМ). Treatment of animals with the water-soluble nitroglycerine analog Isoket or a low-molecular dinitrosyl iron thiosulfate complex as a NO donor increased the concentration of MNIC–MGD with going out into a plateau. The novel approach allows determination of nitric oxide levels in tissue interstitial fluid from concentration of MNIC–MGD formed during microdialysis.  相似文献
