It has been established in experiments on 280 white randombred male rats weighing 100-120 g that the lifting of the animals from the valley (820 m above the sea level) to the mountains (3379 m above the sea level) brings about within the first day marked suppression of the mitotic activity of the epithelium of involuted renal tubules. This activity increases beginning from the end of the first week, approaches the control value by the 30th day of adaptation and almost completely returns to normal by the 60th day of the animals' stay in the mountains. The circadian rhythms of the mitotic activity appeared undisturbed and was monophasic in nature.  相似文献

The goal of the present study was to define gene expression signatures that predict a chemosensitivity of nonsmall cell lung cancer (NSCLC) to cisplatin and paclitaxel. To generate a set of candidate genes likely to be predictive, current knowledge of the pathways involved in resistance and sensitivity to individual drugs was used. Forty-four genes coding proteins belonging to the following categories—ATP-dependent transport proteins, detoxification system proteins, reparation system proteins, tubulin and proteins responsible for its synthesis, cell cycle, and apoptosis proteins—were considered. Eight NSCLC cell lines (A549, Calu1, H1299, H322, H358, H460, H292, and H23) were used in our study. For each NSCLC cell line, a cisplatin and paclitaxel chemosensitivity, as well as an expression level of 44 candidate genes, were evaluated. To develop a chemosensitivity prediction model based on selected genes’ expression level, a multiple regression analysis was performed. The model based on the expression level of 11 genes (TUBB3, TXR1, MRP5, MSH2, ERCC1, STMN, SMAC, FOLR1, PTPN14, HSPA2, GSTP1) allowed us to predict the paclitaxel cytotoxic concentration with a high level of correlation (r = 0.91, p < 0.01). However, no model developed was able to reliably predict sensitivity of the NSCLC cells to cisplatin.  相似文献

The paper deals with the effect of light of different spectral composition on the duration of developmental cycle, pigment accumulation, productivity and efficiency of the use of absorbed energy in photosynthesis during the developmental cycle of Chlorella. An extremely high efficiency of using the green spectrum region in photosynthesis (21,0%) was observed. The efficiency of using absorbed radiation of the red (12%) and blue (6%) spectrum regions is also very high, but significantly lower than that of the green one. The activity of metabolic processes in Chlorella cells differs in various spectrum regions during different developmental cycles and is determined by the acting spectrum.  相似文献

The authors report on the results of their observations during 3 epidemic outbreaks. Despite different intervals at which the bacteriological examinations were carried out comparable data were obtained: during 2 outbreaks when no chemotherapeutic agents were used in 78.0 and 79.9% of children shigella discharge ceased in 4 weeks. Daily bacteriological examinations carried out in the course of the 3rd outbreak showed the maximal intermittent bacterial discharge for up to 79 days in individual cases.  相似文献

The complex evaluation of the reactogenicity characteristics revealed that after immunization with chemical brucellosis vaccine systemic reactions observed in most of the vaccinees were mildly pronounced and local reactions, mildly and moderately pronounced, their duration not exceeding 48-72 hours. During 4 months after immunization the antigenic and immunogenic potency of chemical brucellosis vaccine was no different from that of live brucellosis vaccine; seropositive persons immunized with chemical and live brucellosis vaccines showed no statistically significant differences in the geometric mean of their antibody titers, as determined in a number of serological tests, for a year after immunization. The examination of the vaccinees 4 and 12 months after immunization revealed that the sensitizing activity of chemical brucellosis vaccine was, respectively, 12.2 and 2.5 times lower than the allergenic action of live brucellosis vaccine.  相似文献
