Differential rates of NH proton-exchange reactions have been determined for the guanidinium nitrogens of l-arginine, , in the pH range of 0.5 to 11.5 by natural-abundance nitrogen-15 NMR spectroscopy. Base-catalyzed NH proton exchange of the NH group is found to be two times faster than for the guanidino NH2 groups. Venous and arterial thrombosis are conditions that have a considerable burden if left untreated. The hypoxia-induced by the occluded vessel can disrupt the circulation of any organ, the cornerstone of treating thrombosis is rapid diagnosis and appropriate treatment. Diagnosis of thrombosis may be made by using laboratory tests or imaging techniques in individuals who have clinical manifestations of a thrombotic event. The use of serum micro ribonucleic acids (RNAs) has recently been applied to the diagnosis of thrombosis. These small RNA molecules are emerging as new diagnostic markers but have had very limited applications in vascular disease. Most of the articles provided various microRNAs with different levels of accuracy. However, there remains a lack of an appropriate panel of the most specific microRNA in the literature. Background:Prostate cancer is the second most common cancer in men in Iran. It can be treated in the early stages of the disease; therefore, early diagnosis can be lifesaving. The aim of this study was to investigate the molecular expression of some oncogenes and predisposing behaviors contributing to the aggressiveness of prostate cancer.Methods:In this case-control study, prostate cancer specimens were collected from both patients and healthy volunteers. Several factors such as age, family history, smoking, and stage of the disease, were investigated based on the criteria of this study. Real-time PCR was used to measure the expression of four oncogenes. Statistical analysis of our data was carried out using SPSS software version 22.Results:The X2 test showed that there was a difference in the incidence of prostate cancer in different age groups (X2= 9.30; p= 0.026). Although data analysis by the X2 test showed that family history had a significant effect on prostate cancer (X2= 14.43; p= 0.001), smoking did not show a significant effect on the incidence of this disorder (X2= 4.67; p= 0.097). The T2N1M0 stage is the most common form of prostate cancer in patients with family history of prostate cancer and the habit of smoking. Also, the expression of KRAS1P, GLB1L2, SChLAP1 and PACSIN3 oncogenes reduced in prostate cancer samples compared to the control group.Conclusion:Overall, functional interpretation of gene expression in the prostate tissue can affect tumor progression. The following complexes of iron(II) with the amino acids glycine, alanine, phenylglycine, phenylalanine, leucine, serine, aspartic acid, glutamic acid, glutamine, tryptophan, histidine, methionine, S-methylcysteine, cystine, and glycylglycine have been isolated: Fe(Gly)2, Fe(Ala)2, Fe(Phegly)2, Fe(Phe)2·2H20, Fe(Leu)2·2H20, Fe(Ser)2, Fe(Asp)·2H20, Fe(Glu)·2H20, Fe(Gln)2, Fe(Trp)2, Fe(His)2·H20 and 2H20, Fe(Met)2, Fe(MeCys)2, Fe(CysCys) and Fe(GlyGly)2. To ascertain whether there are chemical and genetic relationships among some Thymus species and also to determine correlation between these two sets of data, the essential‐oil composition and genetic variability of six populations of Thymus including: T. daenensis ?elak. (two populations), T. fallax Fisch . & C.A.Mey ., T. fedtschenkoi Ronniger , T. migricus Klokov & Des .‐Shost ., and T. vulgaris L. were analyzed by GC and GC/MS, and also by randomly amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD). Thus, 27 individuals were analyzed using 16 RAPD primers, which generated 264 polymorphic scorable bands and volatiles isolated by distillation extraction were subjected to GC and GC/MS analyses. The yields of oils ranged from 2.1 to 3.8% (v/w), and 34 components were identified, amounting to a total percentage of 97.8–99.9%. RAPD Markers allowed a perfect distinction between the different species based on their distinctive genetic background. However, they did not show identical clustering with the volatile‐oil profiles. 相似文献

We have reported previously that a missense mutation in the mitochondrial fission gene Dynamin-related protein 1 (Drp1) underlies the Python mouse model of monogenic dilated cardiomyopathy. The aim of this study was to investigate the consequences of the C452F mutation on Drp1 protein function and to define the cellular sequelae leading to heart failure in the Python monogenic dilated cardiomyopathy model. We found that the C452F mutation increased Drp1 GTPase activity. The mutation also conferred resistance to oligomer disassembly by guanine nucleotides and high ionic strength solutions. In a mouse embryonic fibroblast model, Drp1 C452F cells exhibited abnormal mitochondrial morphology and defective mitophagy. Mitochondria in C452F mouse embryonic fibroblasts were depolarized and had reduced calcium uptake with impaired ATP production by oxidative phosphorylation. In the Python heart, we found a corresponding progressive decline in oxidative phosphorylation with age and activation of sterile inflammation. As a corollary, enhancing autophagy by exposure to a prolonged low-protein diet improved cardiac function in Python mice. In conclusion, failure of Drp1 disassembly impairs mitophagy, leading to a downstream cascade of mitochondrial depolarization, aberrant calcium handling, impaired ATP synthesis, and activation of sterile myocardial inflammation, resulting in heart failure. 相似文献

Long non‐coding RNAs (lncRNAs) comprise a vast repertoire of RNAs playing a wide variety of crucial roles in tissue physiology in a cell‐specific manner. Despite being engaged in myriads of regulatory mechanisms, many lncRNAs have still remained to be assigned any functions. A constellation of experimental techniques including single‐molecule RNA in situ hybridization (sm‐RNA FISH), cross‐linking and immunoprecipitation (CLIP), RNA interference (RNAi), Clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats (CRISPR) and so forth has been employed to shed light on lncRNA cellular localization, structure, interaction networks and functions. Here, we review these and other experimental approaches in common use for identification and characterization of lncRNAs, particularly those involved in different types of cancer, with focus on merits and demerits of each technique. 相似文献
