Crataegus curvisepala Lindm., C. laevigata (Poiret) DC. and C. monogyna Jacq. (Rosaceae) form hybrid complexes in Denmark due to introgression. C. palmstruchii Lindm. seems to be variously introgressed individuals of C. laevigata. C. eremitagensis Raunk., C. raavadensis Raunk. and C. schumacheri Raunk. apparently belong to C. curvisepala x laevigata. The delimitation between C. curvisepala x laevigata and C. laevigata x monogyna is discussed.  相似文献

Synthesis and physical-chemistry characterization of five new genuine complex compounds of 1-Benzylidine-2-phenazinoylhydrazine with Pd(II), Pt(II), Ni(II), Hg(II) and Cu(I) are presented. The chemical structure for these complexes is suggested by the elemental chemical analysis, molecular mass measurements, electric conductivities as well as by IR and UV-VIS spectra. The metal:ligand molar ratio is found 1:1, the obtained complexes belonging to the square planar geometry D4h.  相似文献

The nonchromatin proteinous residue of the cell nucleus was revealed in our laboratory as early as in 1948 and then identified by light and electron microscopy as residual nucleoli,intranuclear network and nuclear envelope before 1960,This structure termed afterwards as “nuclear residue“,“nuclear skeleton“,“nuclear cage“,“nuclear carcass“etc.,was much later(in 1974) isolated,studied and entitled as “nuclear matrix“ by Berezney and Coffey,to whom the discovery of this residual structure is often wronly ascribed.The real history of nuclear matrix manifestation is reported in this paper.  相似文献

Urbanization, one of the most extreme land‐use alterations, is currently spreading, and the number of species confronting these changes is increasing. However, contradictory results of previous studies impede a clear interpretation of which selective pressure (nest predation or food limitation) is more important in urban habitats compared with natural situations, and whether birds can confront them by adjusting their life‐history strategies. We investigated life‐history syndromes of three common blackbird (Turdus merula) populations differing in their human influence (urban, rural, and woodland). We analysed daily nest predation and nestling starvation rates to assess the relative importance of these selection pressures in each habitat. Simultaneously, several life‐history traits were investigated to determine if T. merula seem adapted to their main source of selection. Food limitation was more important in the city, whereas nest predation was the most important selective force in the forest. The rural habitat was characterized by an intermediate influence of these two factors. Life‐history syndromes, as the covariation of a suite of traits, confirmed these results because T. merula seem well adapted to the main cause of selection in each habitat. Quercetin and epigallocatechin gallate are two of the most abundant polyphenols in dietary plants, including apples, onions, red wine and green tea. The bioactivity of polyphenols is linked to their ability to interact with cell membranes without being internalized. The aim of the present study was to assess the short-time effect of these polyphenols on membrane anisotropy and transmembrane potential of U937 monocytes and Jurkat T lymphoblasts. Results showed that quercetin and epigallocatechin gallate induced, after 20 minutes cell exposure, a dose-dependent increase of membrane anisotropy and polarization. Anisotropy increase was correlated with the reduction of lipid peroxidation. Our results could indicate that the antioxidant capacity of the tested polyphenols is due to their stabilizing effect on the cell membranes, thus contributing to cell protection in various pathologies and as adjuvant therapy in highly toxic treatment regimens.  相似文献

The weak inward rectifier potassium channel ROMK is important for water and salt reabsorption in the kidney. Here we identified Golgin-160 as a novel interacting partner of the ROMK channel. By using yeast two-hybrid assays and co-immunoprecipitations from transfected cells, we demonstrate that Golgin-160 associates with the ROMK C-terminus. Immunofluorescence microscopy confirmed that both proteins are co-localized in the Golgi region. The interaction was further confirmed by the enhancement of ROMK currents by the co-expressed Golgin-160 in Xenopus oocytes. The increase in ROMK current amplitude was due to an increase in cell surface density of ROMK protein. Golgin-160 also stimulated current amplitudes of the related Kir2.1, and of voltage-gated Kv1.5 and Kv4.3 channels, but not the current amplitude of co-expressed HERG channel. These results demonstrate that the Golgi-associated Golgin-160 recognizes the cytoplasmic C-terminus of ROMK, thereby facilitating the transport of ROMK to the cell surface. However, the stimulatory effect on the activity of more distantly-related potassium channels suggests a more general role of Golgin-160 in the trafficking of plasma membrane proteins.  相似文献

Although the cause for bone marrow fibrosis in patients with myelofibrosis remains controversial, it has been hypothesized that it is caused by extensive fibroblast proliferation under the influence of cytokines generated by the malignant megakaryocytes. Moreover, there is no known drug therapy which could reverse the process. We studied the fibroblasts in a novel system using the hanging drop method, evaluated whether the fibroblasts obtain from patients are part of the malignant clone of not and, using this system, we screen a large library of FDA‐approved drugs to identify potential drugs candidates that might be useful in the treatment of this disease, specifically which would inhibit fibroblast proliferation and the development of bone marrow fibrosis. We have found that the BM fibroblasts are not part of the malignant clone, as previously suspected and two immunosuppressive medications—cyclosporine and mycophenolate mophetil, as most potent suppressors of the fibroblast collagen production thus potentially inhibitors of bone marrow fibrosis production in myelofibrosis.  相似文献
