Objective

To observe the incidence of reversed halo sign in different pulmonary diseases and the pathological correspondence of reversed halo sign.

Methods

Retrospectively studied the high resolution computer tomography scans of all the patients who were admitted in our department with abnormal pulmonary imaging, from 1st of January 2011 to 31st of December 2013, and all the cases with reversed halo sign on the high resolution computer tomography were collected. Clinical data such as pathological findings and confirmed diagnosis of the patients with reversed halo sign on the high resolution computer tomography scan were collected and summarized.

Results

Of 1546 abnormal High resolution computer tomography scans 108 had a reverse halo sign present, including 108 cases were observed with reversed halo sign in the high resolution computer tomography, including 40 cases of pulmonary tuberculosis, 43 cases of cryptogenic organizing pneumonia, 16 cases of lung cancer, 7 cases of sarcoidosis, and 1 case of pulmonary cryptococcosis, 1 case of granulomatosis with polyangiitis. Reversed halo sign had a higher incidence in granulomatous diseases (16.28%) compared with non-granulomatous diseases (9.97%).

Conclusions

Reversed halo sign is relatively non specific; it can be observed in different lung diseases, and different phases of diseases; reversed halo sign is more commonly found in granulomatous diseases compared with non-granulomatous diseases, and is most commonly observed in pulmonary tuberculosis among the granulomatous diseases, and in cryptogenic organizing pneumonia among the non-granulomatous diseases.  相似文献

Rapeseed meal and waste molasses are two important agro-industrial by-products which are produced in large quantities. In this study, solid state fermentation and fungal autolysis were performed to produce rapeseed meal hydrolysate (RMH) using fungal strains of Aspergillus oryzae, Penicillium oxalicum and Neurospora crassa. The hydrolysate was used as fermentation feedstock for heterotrophic growth of microalga Crypthecodinium cohnii that produce docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). The addition of waste molasses as a supplementary carbon source greatly increased the biomass and DHA yield. In the batch fermentations using media composed of diluted RMH (7%) and 1-9% waste molasses, the highest biomass concentration and DHA yield reached 3.43 g/L and 8.72 mg/L, respectively. The algal biomass produced from RMH and molasses medium also had a high percentage of DHA (22-34%) in total fatty acids similar to that of commercial algal biomass. RMH was shown to be rich in nitrogen supply comparable to the commercial nitrogen feedstock like yeast extract. Using RMH as sole nitrogen source, waste molasses excelled other carbon sources and produced the highest concentration of biomass. This study suggests that DHA production of the marine dinoflagellate C. cohnii could be greatly improved by concomitantly using the cheap by-products rapeseed meal hydrolysate and molasses as alternative feedstock.  相似文献

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is characterized with senile plaques formed by Aβ deposition, and neurofibrillary tangles composed of hyperphosphorylated tau protein, which ultimately lead to cognitive impairment. Despite the heavy economic and life burdens faced by the patients with AD, effective treatments are still lacking. Previous studies have reported the neuroprotective effects of FGF10 in CNS diseases, but its role in AD remains unclear. In this study, we demonstrated that FGF10 levels were reduced in the serum of AD patients, as well as in the brains of 3xTg-AD mice and APPswe-transfected HT22 cells, suggesting a close relationship between FGF10 and AD. Further investigations revealed that intranasal delivery of FGF10 improved cognitive functions in 3xTg-AD mice. Additionally, FGF10 treatment reduced tau hyperphosphorylation and neuronal apoptosis, thereby mitigating neuronal cell damage and synaptic deficits in the cortex and hippocampus of 3xTg-AD mice, as well as APPswe-transfected HT22 cells. Furthermore, we evaluated the therapeutic potential of FGF10 gene delivery for treating AD symptoms and pathologies. Tail vein delivery of the FGF10 gene using AAV9 improved cognitive and neuronal functions in 3xTg-AD mice. Similarly, endogenous FGF10 overexpression ameliorated tau hyperphosphorylation and neuronal apoptosis in the cortex and hippocampus of 3xTg-AD mice. Importantly, we confirmed that the FGFR2/PI3K/AKT signaling pathway was activated following intranasal FGF10 delivery and AAV9-mediated FGF10 gene delivery in 3xTg-AD mice and APPswe-transfected HT22 cells. Knockdown of FGFR2 attenuated the protective effect of FGF10. Collectively, these findings suggest that intranasal delivery of FGF10 and AAV9-mediated FGF10 gene delivery could be a promising disease-modifying therapy for AD.  相似文献

通过品种、外植体类型、培养基、外源植物激素的选择等几方面对国内多肉植物的离体再生研究现状进行了综述。发现多肉植物的离体再生研究多以种子、叶片、茎段、花器官等为外植体;不定芽诱导阶段常用的培养基类型为MS培养基,不定根诱导常用1/2 MS培养基;6-苄氨基腺嘌呤(6-BA)、萘乙酸(NAA)和激动素(KT)作为常见的外源植物激素,被广泛运用于多肉植物愈伤组织诱导、不定芽诱导、不定根诱导等离体再生各阶段;分析了当前存在的问题和发展前景,以期为日后多肉植物的相关研究提供可行性建议。  相似文献

Somatolactin (SL), the latest member of the growth hormone/prolactin family, is a novel pituitary hormone with diverse functions. However, the signal transduction mechanisms responsible for SL expression are still largely unknown. Using grass carp as an animal model, we examined the direct effects of pituitary adenylate cyclase-activating polypeptide (PACAP) on SL gene expression at the pituitary level. In primary cultures of grass carp pituitary cells, SLalpha and SLbeta mRNA levels could be elevated by PACAP via activation of PAC-I receptors. With the use of a pharmacological approach, the AC/cAMP/PKA and PLC/inositol 1,4,5-trisphosphate (IP(3))/PKC pathways and subsequent activation of the Ca(2+)/calmodulin (CaM)/CaMK-II cascades were shown to be involved in PACAP-induced SLalpha mRNA expression. Apparently, the downstream Ca(2+)/CaM-dependent cascades were triggered by extracellular Ca(2+) ([Ca(2+)](e)) entry via L-type voltage-sensitive Ca(2+) channels (VSCC) and Ca(2+) release from IP(3)-sensitive intracellular Ca(2+) stores. In addition, the VSCC component could be activated by cAMP/PKA- and PLC/PKC-dependent mechanisms. Similar postreceptor signaling cascades were also observed for PACAP-induced SLbeta mRNA expression, except that [Ca(2+)](e) entry through VSCC, PKC coupling to PLC, and subsequent activation of CaMK-II were not involved. These findings, taken together, provide evidence for the first time that PACAP can induce SLalpha and SLbeta gene expression in fish model via PAC-I receptors through differential coupling to overlapping and yet distinct signaling pathways.  相似文献

目的探讨人肝癌组织中β-连环素(-βcatenin)和上皮钙黏连素(E-cadherin)的表达情况及其与肝癌转移的相关性。方法应用免疫组织化学、原位分子杂交和细胞图像分析技术对30例原发性肝细胞癌及其癌旁肝组织中-βcate-nin和E-cadherin的表达情况进行观察,并分析了两者的表达与门静脉有无癌栓之间的相关性。结果在癌旁肝组织中,β-catenin和E-cadherin蛋白主要在细胞膜表达,胞浆表达较少;而在肝癌组织中,两者的表达特征发生改变,胞膜表达明显减少或缺失,-βcatenin的胞浆表达增强,甚至可见核表达,而E-cadherin在癌细胞胞浆内也明显减少或缺失。-βcatenin在有门静脉癌栓组的表达强度(平均光密度)高于无门静脉癌栓组(P<0.05),而E-cadherin则相反。结论-βcatenin在肝癌组织中的异位表达、过表达及E-cadherin的表达下降在肝癌转移过程中可能起重要作用。  相似文献
