Comparative ultrastructural morphometrical studies in acute leukemia.

Four hundred paramyeloblasts (from meyloblastic, promyelocytic, monoblastic and lymphoblastic types), isolated from peripheral blood of untreated leukemia patients, were studied by planimetric ultrastructural morphometry. The data of 19 parameters for these four paramyeloblastic types were compared with statistical methods. More central "scattered" heterochromatin was found from this morphometric investigation, i.e. early prophases in the lymphoblastic type of acute leukemia (these cases are more sensitive to therapy). The absolute mean values of the areas of whole cells, areas of the nucleus and nucleolus, areas of the heterochromatin and other indices show that different cell clones will undergo leukaemic transformation.     

云南省角蝉科二新属二新种

最近我们从全国动物学科研单位和高等院校借调来大批的角蝉科标本,进行系统的分类研究,从中发现有二新属及二新种,均采自云南西双版纳,现在先把它们加以记载。     

角蝉科一新属一新种

角蝉科的昆虫,是世界著名的富于拟态性的昆虫。它们的畸形发达的前胸背板给人们以明显的识别的特征。这一科不少种类是果树、森林或农业的重要害虫,造成相当严重的灾害。角蝉科截至目前为止,全世界已记载的共324属2500余种;中国已知的20属152种。 本文记述角蝉科一新属及一新种。     

Intestinal Endotoxin in Regulation of Hemostasis Activity and in Pathogenesis of the DIC Syndrome

The role of the kidneys in endotoxin aggression (EA) and the involvement of EA in disturbance of hemostasis were shown in 33 children with congenital urological pathology. With a progressive decrease in the accumulative-excretory function of the kidneys, compensated chronic EA became subcompensated or noncompensated with a pronounced clinical manifestation: fever, exacerbation of chronic pyelonephritis, an expanded form of the disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC) III syndrome, and macrohematuria. Preoperative correction of antiendotoxin immunity and hemostasis and improvement of urine passage prevented bleeding and other postoperative complications.     

Restriction analysis of the genome of swine abortion parvovirus and cloning of its PstI-EcoRI fragment

The cultured pig kidney cells infected by the porcine parvovirus (PPV) produced the virions and viral DNA. The latter was used as a matrix to synthesize the double stranded DNA. The obtained preparation is more homogenic than the natural replicative form and was used for restriction analysis of porcine parvovirus genome and for molecular cloning of its fragment. The isolated recombinant plasmids contained the PstI-EcoRI fragment of PPV DNA, containing 70% of the viral genome. The restriction analysis of replicative PPV DNA isolated from the infected cells has resulted in finding of the replicative form containing a 300 bp deletion in the 5'-region of PPV genome.     

The necessity of complex use of radiation and endoscopic techniques in the differential diagnosis of gastric ulcerations

The results of examination of 156 patients were used to consider whether radiation and endoscopic techniques might be used in the differential diagnosis of gastric ulcerations. The necessity of their complex use is shown. Evidence is provided for that the understanding of intramural changes at the site of ulceration should underlie the interpretation of visual changes in the gastric mucosa. An algorithm has been developed for the rational and effective use of radiation and endoscopic techniques in the differential diagnosis of gastric ulcerations. The algorithm is shown to be highly effective in the correct interpretation of the pattern of an identified ulceration (98.4% specificity). Ultrasound and computed tomographic semiotics of benign and malignant gastric ulcerations is presented.

近年来,我们又获得大量金翅夜蛾亚科的标本。这些标本有的是我们区系组的同志从全国各地采集的,有的是兄弟单位赠送或借给的。 标本共77,085号,我们逐一进行了外部特征的观察,每种作了雌雄生殖器的解剖研究。除前一报告已记载的相同种类外,新增加的种类有36种。如下:
