Clinical, bacteriological, serological and epidemiological studies of ozena morbidity among the population of Minsk were carried out in 1970-1980. On January 1, 1981, the ozena morbidity rate among the inhabitants of Minsk was 26.72%. Ozena was found to affect mainly children and women. A wide spread of the family foci of this disease (31.68%) was revealed. The results of this study indicate that the source of K. ozaenae is a sick person who begins to excrete the bacteria in the prodromal period of the disease and may continue to excrete them for many years. The transfer of K. ozaenae occurs probably by droplet or contact infection. The droplet infection is less active in the absence of symptoms (coughing, sneezing) facilitating excretion of the infective agent into the air and in cases of the low susceptibility of persons to ozena. The main measures for controlling ozena are the timely detection and sanitation of the sources of ozena, as well as the current disinfection of the infection foci in apartments.  相似文献

The alkylating derivatives of four individual diastereomers of the oligonucleotide [dTp(Et)]3dTpU and two individual diastereomers of oligonucleotide [dTp(Et)dTp]4 have been synthesized. The reagents with the phosphorus atoms in the enantiomeric p" configuration are shown to be more efficient in reacting with poly(dA) and with nucleic acids in Krebs-2 ascites carcinoma cells compared to those with the phosphorus atoms in the p' configuration.  相似文献

Relationship between eye ability to perceive smooth motion under stroboscopic stimulation on forward motion (from which stationary positions of the object) in the plane perpendicular to the look line was found. For diagnostics and occupational selection it is suggested to carry out stimulation in several directions thus obtaining additional information about the visual system of the person under test.  相似文献

A study was made of the effectiveness of a new class of radioprotective agents, polypeptides, obtained from zootoxins of scorpion, tarantula, Lathrodectes tredecimguttatus, and bee under conditions of a short-term and long-term irradiation. The peptide fraction of the scorpion venom, butoxin, was most radioprotective: it provided 65% survival after LD98/30. Butoxin exerted a stimulatory effect on the hypophysis-adrenal system and haemopoiesis of intact and irradiated animals.  相似文献

Antidromic discharges and spontaneous activity of single sympathetic preganglionic neurons in the lateral horns of the second lumbar segment of the spinal cord were recorded extracellularly in cats anesthetized with a mixture of chloralose and pentobarbital. A new technique used to identify antidromic discharges of sympathetic preganglionic neurons is described and the characteristics of discharges and sites where they were recorded are investigated. Changes in the frequency of spontaneous discharges of most neurons were shown to be connected with different types of fluctuation of the arterial pressure. Experiments on anesthetized and immobilized cats showed that repeated antidromic discharges can be evoked in 32.5% of sympathetic preganglionic neurons of the lateral horns in segments T3, T8–9, and L2 of the spinal cord, with intervals of 16 msec or more between them, which is much greater than the refractory period of these neurons. This feature was shown not to be connected with the properties of axons of that group of neurons and, in particular, with their after-subnormality. After orthodromic discharges in neurons of this group, for a much longer period of time than could be accounted for by possible collision, no antidromic discharges likewise were evoked. As a result of antidromic activation of some of these neurons in one segment, definite inhibition of the orthodromic response of other neurons of the same segment appeared, etiher by a reflex mechanism or through stimulation of descending pathways. The results point definitely to the existence of a mechanism of recurrent inhibition in some sympathetic preganglionic neurons of the lateral horns.I. P. Summary A cytophotometric study of DNA content in Purkinje cells of the cerebellum of rats, cats, chicken and humans (Feulgen staining) revealed that in a certain number of cells the amount of DNA ranged between the diploid and tetraploid level (H2C cells). The incidence of H2C Purkinje cells varied among the species studied. In rats, which were studied most thoroughly, these cells amounted on average to 3%. In some rats, as well as in some cats and chickens H2C Purkinje cells were entirely absent. In the group of animals possesing H2C Purkinje cells, great interindividual differences were observed. In rats for instance, the incidence of these cells varied from 1 to 23 per cent. Topographic analyses carried out in rat and human cerebellum revealed that H2C Purkinje cells occurred more frequently in the hemispheres than in the vermis. No significant differences were found in the number of H2C Purkinje cells in healthy and Kilham-DNA-virus infected rats.Densitometric analysis of the distribution of nuclear chromatin showed that H2C Purkinje cells were richer in condensed chromatin, especially in the region of the nucleolus, which apparently contains the hyperploid surplus of DNA. It is proposed that the phenomenon of DNA hyperdiploidy arises as a result of either incomplete S-phase in some immature Purkinje cell precursors or the amplification of some DNA sequences particularly those localized in the nucleolar region.  相似文献

The interaction of 3'-O-acetyldithymidilate (pdTpdT(Ac)), thymidine-3',5'-diphosphate (pdTp) and thymidine-3'-phenyl-phosphate-5'-phosphate (pdTpPh) with 2,4,6-triisopropylbenzene sulphonyl chloride (TPS) and N,N'-dicyclohexylcarbodiimide (DCC) in pyridine and dimethylformamide (DMF) was studied by pulsed NMR spectroscopy on phosphorus nuclei. Thymidine cyclic 3',5'-pyrophosphate and dimeric pyrophosphate derivatives were shown to be the main products of the reaction of pdTp with TPS and DCC. The former shows spin AB-system with the unusually large spin-spin coupling constant about 28Hz upfield to the signals of the dimeric pyrophosphates in NMR spectrum. Analogous spin AB-systems with large spin-spin coupling constants (up to 32 Hz) were observed in the spectra of the reaction mixtures of pdTpdT(Ac) with TPS or DCC and of pdTpPh with TPS. These spin AB-systems were ascribed to 3',5'-cyclic pyrophosphate derivatives of pdTpdT(Ac) and pdTpPh.  相似文献
