Fractions containing macrophage migration inhibition factor (MIF) and leucocyte migration inhibition factor (LIF) were obtained using Sephadex G-200 filtration from supernatant fluids of human lymphocyte cultures stimulated by PHA. The fractions were tested for the ability to affect migration and phagocytic activity of target cells. Peripheral blood leucocyte migration capacity was inhibited by the fraction with the molecular mass of 60,000-70,000 D (LIF), while migration activity of mouse peritoneal exudate cells was suppressed by the fraction with the molecular mass of 20,000-30,000 D (MIF). MIF- and LIF-containing fractions increased almost three-fold Fc-receptor-mediated phagocytic activity of neutrophils. 相似文献

Interaction of Proteus mirabilis with the intestine epithelium in white mongrel mice has been studied by means of bacteriological, toxicological and electron microscopic methods. Introduction of the agar culture of bacteria to the intestine lumen has permitted finding its general toxic action on enterocytes and other cell elements of epithelium which was accompanied by a potentiation of the striated margin membrane degradation but caused no destruction of cells. A damaging factor of protei was connected with the thermostable large-molecular fraction of cultural fluid of bacteria and its action was traced at the first hours of the bacterial contact with the mucous surface of thin intestine. Preliminary weakening of protective barriers of the intestine mucosa permitted protei to penetrate deep into the tissue through the intercellular slots. Colonization of the intestine lumen wall zone by the proteus is a necessary condition of the above-mentioned changes. 相似文献

The in vitro study of the action of the complex of natural cytokines (CNC), or preparation Superlymph, on different microbial test strains (Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, yeast-like fungi of the genus Candida) was carried out. CNC suppressed the growth of S. aureus test culture, depending on the concentration of the preparation. The inhibiting effect was observed in the presence of Ca and Mg bivalent cations in the medium. Under the chosen conditions of the experiment CNC did not inhibit the growth of E. coli test cultures, as well as test cultures of yeast-like fungi of the genus Candida. In addition to its antibacterial effect, Superlymph also produced some effect on the release of cathepsin G, the lysosomal enzyme of human leukocyte granules. 相似文献

As the result of high flood occurring during the period of June 21-22, 2002, in the Stavropol Territory, 65 settlements were affected. About 200,000 inhabitants found themselves lacking centralized drinking water supply. From the very first days of the emergency situation the state sanitary and epidemiological service took a complex of measures aimed at the liquidation of the medico-sanitary consequences of the high flood, the prevention of the appearance of mass infectious diseases among the affected population. As the result of these measures, the appearance of the outbreaks of acute enteric infections, viral hepatitis A aggravations in malaria and other infectious diseases could be prevented. 相似文献

As the result of the high flood, an increase in the area of anopheligenic water reservoirs occurred on the inundated territories, which created favorable conditions for the proliferation of Anopheles mosquitoes, the vectors of malarial plasmodia, thus creating the threat of the formation of the local sources of malaria in case of its penetration from other regions unfavorable with respect to this disease. In the affected towns and regions hydrotechnical measures aimed at decreasing the surface of anopheligenic water reservoirs, as well as measures aimed at the decrease in the number of the larval and imaginal stages in the development of mosquitoes, were taken, which made it possible to prevent the probable epidemiological aggravations in malaria. 相似文献

Among T lymphocytes CD4+, the subpopulation of cells carrying the alpha-chain of the receptor of interleukin-2 (CD25) and designated as regulating T cells (Treg) has recently been marked out. Such cells produce mainly suppressing effect in the immune system and have been identified not only in experimental animals, but also in humans. The prolonged experience of the evaluation of such cells has been summarized with the cells evaluated in the peripheral blood and in culture, after their stimulation in vitro, lymphocytes obtained from healthy persons and patients with some diseases leading to the development of immunodeficient states (bronchial asthma in the state of exacerbation, newly diagnosed pulmonary tuberculosis, chronic pyelonephritis). In all cases an increased circulation of T cells CD4+, CD25(4), which may be indicative of their immunosuppressing action was found. The correlation between the high level of these cells ex vivo and a decrease in the proliferative activity of T cells in vitro is noted. The level and functional properties of the subpopulation of T lymphocytes CD4+, CD25+ are among the most informative criteria of the functioning of me immune system in the normal state and in immunopathology. Platelet aggregation was decreased under action of ADP and collagen in patients with myelodysplastic syndrome. The decrease in aggregation started from 3-rd minutes and decreased in 4 and 5 minutes after action of ADP. The study of Ca(2+)-ATPase and Na+, K(+)-ATPase membrane activities showed the decrease in Ca(2+)-ATPase and increase in Na+, K(+)-ATPase activity in the patients with myelodysplastic syndrome. 相似文献
