Sensitivity to 15 drugs of 248 P. aeruginosa strains isolated from patients with infected burns was studied by the method of agar dilution. All of the strains were resistant to polymyxin M, ceporin, erythromycin and oleandomycin. Most of the strains were resistant to streptomycin, monomycin, ampicillin and rifadin. Moderate resistance of the strains to carbenicillin, morphocycline, vibramycin, kanamycin, tetraolean and tetracycline was observed: the maximum concentrations of these antibiotics (128 microgram/ml) inhibited the growth of 85, 69, 63, 51.8, 43.6 and 41.2 per cent of the strains respectively. Gentamicin proved to be most active against the strains of P. aeruginosa and inhibited 87 per cent of the strains when used in the therapeutic doses. The study provided recomendation of the drugs for parenteral and local use in treatment of burns infected with P. aeruginosa. 相似文献

Peroxidation of lipids was studied in patients with heart failure after coronary heart disease and acquired valvular diseases. Even at early stages of the heart failure an increase in the concentration of dien conjugates, malonic dialdehyde and intensification of the peroxidation of blood lipids under stimulation by bivalent iron have been revealed. These changes do not depend on reasons which caused heart failure. 相似文献

The physiological action of the MOD-19 polysaccharide (PS), synthesized similarly to bacterial glucans, on the nodule bacteria Rhizobium leguminosarum bv. viciae and pea seeds was studied. It was found that MOD-19 stimulated nodule bacterium growth and bacterial biomass accumulation. It also altered metabolism in rhizobia grown in solid and liquid media containing this polymer. Treatment of pea seeds with MOD-19 before sowing increased the intensity of root formation, plant tissue peroxidase activity, and general symbiosis efficiency owing to secondary nodule formation on lateral roots and prolongation of their intense nitrogen fixation. 相似文献

Nodule bacteria (Bradyrhizobium japonicum) of various activities were preincubated with homologous lectin and then used for inoculating soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merrill) seeds. The effect of this inoculation on the photosynthetic rate, lectin activity in leaves, and plant development at different supply of mineral nitrogen was investigated under the conditions of pot experiments. There was a positive relationship between the photosynthetic rate and the lectin activity of proteins isolated from soybean leaves. Under the conditions of effective symbiosis, activation of functioning of the symbiotic apparatus by preincubation of the rhizobia with lectin exerted an additional stimulating effect on the photosynthetic rate. It is suggested that a relationship between the effectiveness of legume-rhizobium symbiosis and the lectin activity in leaves is mediated by the regulation of photosynthesis through a demand for assimilates in the source-sink system of soybean plants. 相似文献
