The acetolysed pollen of 33 species of the genus Justicia in Thailand is investigated using both light and scanning electron microscopy. The pollen of the genus is characterised as being isopolar, bilaterally or radially symmetrical, with mostly prolate or prolate spheroidal shape. Based on characters with high factor loading in the cluster analysis and principal components analysis, the studied species are divided into two major groups; one with 3-colporate with six pseudocolpi and the other with 2-porate or 2–3-colporate with aperture areas. The pollen morphology of each group is described and illustrated. Pollen characters are useful for taxonomic delimitation and relationships among Thai species.  相似文献

A rhodamine‐based fluorescent chemodosimeter rhodamine hydrazide‐triazole (RHT) tethered with a triazole moiety was developed for Cu2+ detection. In aqueous medium, the RHT probe exhibited high selectivity and sensitivity toward Cu2+ among other metal ions. The addition of Cu2+ triggered a fluorescence emission of RHT by 384‐fold (Φ = 0.33) based on a ring‐opening process and a subsequent hydrolysis reaction. Moreover, RHT also showed a selective colorimetric response toward Cu2+ from colorless solution to pink, readily observed with the naked eye. The limit of detection of RHT for Cu2+ was calculated to be 1 nM (0.06 ppb). RHT was successfully demonstrated to detect Cu2+ in Chang liver cells by confocal fluorescence microscopy.  相似文献

A portable and cost-effective technique to measure the dimethyl ether (DME) concentrations has been developed. It is based on an electrochemical principle measuring the oxidation current of DME at an applied potential of +0.2V versus a Ag/AgCl reference electrode. Thick-film printing technique is used for the fabrication of this DME sensor, and platinum nanoparticles in the crystallite size of 5.5 nm are used for the modification of the working electrode surface. This modification enhances the sensor performance significantly leading to a higher sensitivity of the sensor comparing to bare platinum electrode. Evaluation and characterization of this sensor are carried out over the DME concentration range of 0-7% (v/v), and a linear relationship between sensor outputs and the DME concentrations with an average R(2) of 0.996 exists. The reproducibility of the sensor is also very good. This electrochemically based DME sensor fabricated by thick-film screen printing technique and using the platinum nanoparticles to enhance its performance will be valuable and practical for the estimation of the airway mucosal blood flow.  相似文献
