In taxonomic studies (in preparation) of the genus Botryllophilus from the eastern and western coastal waters of the Pacific and from the northern Gulf of California, we have found that the females are morphologically divided into 2 types. The 2 morpho-types in our material, which includes 10 species, are characterized by features of the urosome including anal segment and caudal rami, rostrum, antennule, antenna, mandible, maxillule, maxilla, maxilliped, 1st to 5th legs, and the apparatus at the oviducal aperture. These characters are described and the significance of the recognition of the 2 morpho-types is discussed for the purpose of solving taxonomic problems in Botryllophilus. 相似文献

The terminology Novel Process Window unites different methods to improve existing processes by applying unconventional and harsh process conditions like: process routes at much elevated pressure, much elevated temperature, or processing in a thermal runaway regime to achieve a significant impact on process performance. This paper is a review of parts of IMM’s works in particular the applicability of above mentioned Novel Process Windows on selected chemical reactions. First, general characteristics of microreactors are discussed like excellent mass and heat transfer and improved mixing quality. Different types of reactions are presented in which the use of microstructured devices led to an increased process performance by applying Novel Process Windows. These examples were chosen to demonstrate how chemical reactions can benefit from the use of milli- and microstructured devices and how existing protocols can be changed toward process conditions hitherto not applicable in standard laboratory equipment. The used milli- and microstructured reactors can also offer advantages in other areas, for example, high-throughput screening of catalysts and better control of size distribution in a particle synthesis process by improved mixing, etc. The chemical industry is under continuous improvement. So, a lot of research is being done to synthesize high value chemicals, to optimize existing processes in view of process safety and energy consumption and to search for new routes to produce such chemicals. Summary Aiming at the genetic improvement of garlic cultivars, a cell suspension protocol was established which includes the induction
of friable callus, establishment of cells in liquid medium, plating, regeneration, and bulb formation. Calluses of various
textures from compact to friable and from green to yellowish were obtained by culturing explants excised from inner leaves
of garlic bulbs on Marashig-Shoog (MS) medium with 2,4 dichlorophenoxy acetic acid (2,4-D), (1.1 mg/liter [5.0 μM]), picloram
(1.2 mg/liter [5.0 μM]), and kinetin (2.1 mg/liter [10 μM]). Friable callus occurred on MS-A contained 2,4-D alone (1.0 mg/liter
[4.52 μM]) and this callus was used to develop cell suspension cultures, which were maintained in liquid MS-B medium with a 2,4-D/benzyl
adenine (BA) (0.5 mg/liter [2.25 μM]: 0.5 mg/liter [2.22 μM]) ratio. High plating efficiency was obtained on MS-C medium with different naphthalene acetic acid/BA combinations. Regeneration
occurred after transfer of the caulogenic mass to MS-C medium containing 10 mg/liter (74.02 μM) and 20 mg/liter (148.04 μM) adenine for 60 days, followed by transfer to adenine-free medium. Plantlets transplanted to soil showed normal phenology.
Shoots grown on modified MS medium supplemented with indolylbutryic acid (3.0 mg/liter [14.7 μM]) stimulated bulb formation by 30 days in culture. 相似文献

Alpinia purpurata K Schum inflorescence buds inoculated on Murashige and Skoog medium (MS) containing 10 M 6-benzyladenine with 5 M naphthaleneacetic acid gave rise to multiple shoot formation with a mean increase of 15 to 20 new shoots each 4 weeks. Plants could be stored for more than 6 months in flasks containing deionized water with 5 g 1-1 sucrose with minimal vegetative growth.Abbreviations IAA
