The density of the noninductive current generated due to collisionless motion of α-particles in the tokamak magnetic field is calculated. The analysis is based on fully three-dimensional calculations of charged particle trajectories without simplifying assumptions typical for drift and neoclassical approaches. The current is calculated over the entire cross section of the plasma column, including the magnetic axis. It is shown that the current density is not a function of a magnetic surface and is strongly polarized over the poloidal angle. The current density distribution in the tokamak poloidal cross section is obtained, and the current density as a function of the safety factor, the tokamak aspect ratio, and the ratio of the particle Larmor radius on the axis to the tokamak minor radius is determined. It is shown that, when the source of α-particles is spatially nonuniform, the current density in the center of the tokamak is nonzero due to asymmetry of the phase-space boundary between trapped and passing particles. The current density scaling in the tokamak center differs from the known approximations for the bootstrap current and is sensitive to the spatial distribution of α-particles.  相似文献

Analytical solutions for global geodesic acoustic modes in the plasma of a tokamak with circular concentric magnetic surfaces are obtained. In the framework of ideal magnetohydrodynamics, an integral equation for eigenvalues (dispersion relation) taking into account toroidal coupling between electrostatic perturbations and electromagnetic perturbations with the poloidal mode number |m| = 2 is derived. In the absence of such coupling, the dispersion relation yields only the standard continuous spectrum. The existence of a global geodesic acoustic mode is analyzed for equilibria with both on-axis and off-axis maxima of the local geodesic acoustic frequency. The analytical results are compared with results of numerical calculations.  相似文献

The classical (for the Grad-Shafranov equation) formulation of the equilibrium problem for a cylindrical current-carrying plasma column is shown to admit multiple solutions. The multiple solutions are bifurcational in character and appear due to the nonlinearity of the equilibrium equation. This was demonstrated analytically using a stepped current profile as an example. Bifurcational solutions found for the cylindrical case survive in toroidal geometry too.  相似文献

It is shown that plasma rotation near the tokamak the wall can result in a shift of the isobaric separatrix with respect to the magnetic one. This shift is calculated analytically, and this effect is exemplified by simple plasma equilibrium states. The plasma rotation that causes the shift of the separatrices can be driven either by a nonzero radial electric field at the plasma edge or by the Hall effect, which may take place even in the absence of the electric field.  相似文献

Genomic and proteomic data were integrated into the proteogenomic workflow to identify coding genomic variants of Human Embryonic Kidney 293 (HEK‐293) cell line at the proteome level. Shotgun proteome data published by Geiger et al. (2012), Chick et al. (2015), and obtained in this work for HEK‐293 were searched against the customized genomic database generated using exome data published by Lin et al. (2014). Overall, 112 unique variants were identified at the proteome level out of ~1200 coding variants annotated in the exome. Seven identified variants were shared between all the three considered proteomic datasets, and 27 variants were found in any two datasets. Some of the found variants belonged to widely known genomic polymorphisms originated from the germline, while the others were more likely resulting from somatic mutations. At least, eight of the proteins bearing amino acid variants were annotated as cancer‐related ones, including p53 tumor suppressor. In all the considered shotgun datasets, the variant peptides were at the ratio of 1:2.5 less likely being identified than the wild‐type ones compared with the corresponding theoretical peptides. This can be explained by the presence of the so‐called “passenger” mutations in the genes, which were never expressed in HEK‐293 cells. The influence of the shape of the plasma cross section on the continuous spectrum of geodesic acoustic modes (GAMs) in a tokamak is analyzed in the framework of the MHD model. An expression for the frequency of a local GAM for a model noncircular cross section plasma equilibrium is derived. Amendments to the oscillation frequency due to the plasma elongation and triangularity and finite tokamak aspect ratio are calculated. It is shown that the main factor affecting the GAM spectrum is the plasma elongation, resulting in a significant decrease in the mode frequency.  相似文献
