The specificity of DNA X dye binding was studied. Antibiotic distamycin A was bound most strongly to the DNA sequences composed of three or more neighboring A X T pairs. Acrichin and 7-aminoacrichin proved to be weak specific inhibitors binding predominantly within the A X T regions.  相似文献

The results of the preliminary evaluation of the sensitivity and specificity of the newly developed diagnostic test based on the determination of genus-specific antibodies to leptospires in the latex agglutination test, are presented. This test makes it possible to detect anti-Leptospira antibodies of any serogroup. The advantages of the developed test have been determined.  相似文献

The effect of the preparation of E. coli M-17 low-molecular exometabolites (Actoflor), containing growth autostimulators, on the growth of pure cultures of E. coli M-17 E. coli K-12, Salmonella enteritidis, Serratia marcescens and Bifidobacterium adolescentis MC-42 was studied. This preparation was shown to stimulate the growth of all above-mentioned bacteria. The addition of Actoflor also led to the acceleration of growth in the cultivation of mixed cultures of E. coli M-17 with E. coli K-12 (or S. enteritidis), the producer strain (E. coli M-17) showing the highest degree of acceleration. Moreover, the action of Actoflor led to the elimination of competitor strains and to the increase of the antagonistic activity of E. coli M-17. Actoflor may be supposedly used as a therapeutic or prophylactic remedy.  相似文献

The effect of deep freezing of seeds at -196 degrees C (-320.8 degrees Fahrenheit) and inbreeding on the morphological characteristics of the evening-primrose biennal (Oenothera biennis L.), such as the size of plant parts and the amount of fruits, cauline nodes, and generative and vegetative shoots was investigated. The variation coefficients for these characteristics after treatment with low temperatures and inbreeding were calculated. It was shown that the characteristics of plant size show a low and a middle level of variability in the control group. The variation curves for these characteristics are similar to normal distribution curves. After stresses they slightly change or remain invariant. Large adventive shoots show a high level of variability. The distribution of the results in this case significantly differs from the normal. The branching of plants changes after both stress factors: the amount of all kinds of shoots decreases by half or even more.  相似文献

The effect of non-deep freezing (-10 degrees C) and deep freezing (-196 degrees C) on the morphological characteristics of four pink species was investigated. It was shown that the growth and development of plants after cryopreservation changed insignificantly. Rather stable characteristics (diameter of flower, the number of cauline nodes, and root length) did not change. The length of generative shoots decreased a little, and the character of histograms changed. On the other hand, the changeable characteristics (the number of vegetative shoots and flowers) decreased after seed cryopreservation. However, the number of flowers did not vary in the next year. The parameters essential for seed cryopreservation, seed germination and the quantity of fruits, did not changed. It was also found that seed freezing exerts a stimulating effect on seed germination and the top limit of some parameters, including the quantity of generative organs.  相似文献

Evaluations of immune system of 155 patients with rubella and 90 contacts with patients were examined. Detection of viral genetic material in blood, urine, and nasopharyngeal swabs has been performed using RT-PCR method. Clinical diagnosis has been confirmed by RT-PCR in 114 (73.5%) patients. Changes of laboratory tests for rubella without clinical signs of the infection were observed in 20% of contacts. Complex ELISA- and PCR-assisted examination of patients can help to determine the stage of disease and characteristics of immune response. For differential diagnostic of rubella and other infectious diseases with exanthema it is rational to perform complex examination of patients using immunologic and molecular biologic methods.  相似文献

Twenty one strains of rubella virus were isolated in the Western Siberia during 2004-2006 epidemic period. Genotyping of isolated strains was performed by partial sequencing of glycoprotein E1 gene. Phylogenetic analysis showed that 20 out of 21 isolated in the Western Siberia strains of rubella virus belonged to genotype 1g, and 1 strain (isolated in Altai region in 2006)--to genotype 1E.  相似文献

The results of epidemiological, clinical and laboratory studies revealed that the sharp rise of morbidity in viral hepatitides in Osh Province, the Kirghiz SSR in autumn 1987 was caused by hepatitis non A, non B virus with fecal-oral transmission. At this period the results of the enzyme immunoassay showed the absence of the markers of hepatitides A, B and Delta in 72.2% of viral hepatitis patients. Hepatitis non A, non B occurred only in 2.4% of viral hepatitis patients of preschool age (of these, 83.3% had hepatitis A) and was diagnosed in autumn 1987 in 50% of the patients aged 7-14 years and in 97.4% of the patients aged 15-29 years (in the latter age group 95-98% of the patients had IgG to hepatitis A virus in their blood). The appearance of the outbreak of the above-mentioned infection in Kirghizia is linked with the water route of the transmission of the infective agent. The epidemiological and clinical signs, characteristic of fecal-oral hepatitis non A, non B in Kirghizia, were not different from those registered earlier in other republics of the Central Asia and could be used for the identification of this infection.  相似文献

Models of processive and distributive DNA synthesis and degradation catalysed by matrix enzymes were investigated. Distribution of polymer products dependent on the reaction model chosen, on the type of the matrix and on the enzyme-matrix initial concentration ratio were determined by methods of numerical modeling. Conditions were found where the scattering of the reaction polymer products was minimal. The homopolymer matrix choice of experimental condition may generate a distribution of product that obeys the Poisson distribution. Numerical investigations of polymerization (hydrolysis) processes showed that for a number of heteropolymer matrixes a distribution may exist with scattering much less than that for homopolymer matrixes. Conditions are found when processive and distributive models give different distributions of the reaction product.  相似文献
