Qualitative and quantitative distributions of microfungal flora of the some greenhouse soils in the vicinity of Lapseki, Canakkale were studied. A total of 25 soil samples were collected from 10 cm depth in five greenhouses. Using soil dilution technique, 128 different microfungal isolates were obtained Isolates collected belonged to Oomycetes (1), Zygomycetes (7), Ascomycetes (9) and 96 belonging to the Deuteromycetes Fifteen isolates were classified as Mycelia Sterilia. The genera of microfungi most abundant in the greenhouse soils were Aspergillus, Penicillium, Geomyces, Exophiala and Fusarium. Qualitative and quantitative distributions of the Aspergillus were higher than those of the other genera. It was found that the maximum value was in greenhouse 5 and the minimum value was in greenhouse 4. The solarization method was the most effective in reducing fungal numbers.  相似文献

Honeybees provide multiple products such as bee venom (BV) which are used for various nutritional and medicinal purposes. BV has received great attention due to its wide range of bioactive components with potential anti-cancer effects on different cancers. Triple negative breast cancer (TNBC) is defined as an aggressive type of breast cancer and new therapeutic targets are required for its treatment. In the current literature information is varied about the composition and quantity of BV bioactive compounds as well as the origin of BV and its significance. In this context, the cytotoxic and apoptotic effects of BV with a higher rate of mellitin from Apis mellifera anatoliaca (Muğla ecotype) on MDA-MB-231 cells was evaluated, in vitro. The cytotoxic, apoptotic and morphological effects of BV were determined by WST-1, Annexin V, cell cycle analysis and Acridine Orange staining. The results showed that BV caused apoptotic cell death in TNBC cells at a lower dose (0.47 μg/mL, p<0.01). This study suggests that BV could be developed as a potential therapeutic agent for cancer treatment. However, the mechanism of BV-induced apoptosis death should be clarified at the molecular level.  相似文献

A novel highly sensitive electrochemical impedimetric Protein A immunosensor for the determination of immunoglobulin G (IgG) was developed by immobilization of Protein A within a newly synthesized, and characterized polymer, poly(maleicanhydride-alt-decene-1). TiO2 nanoparticles (10–30 nm) were synthesized, characterized with X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy and Brunauer–Emmett–Teller surface analysis. The electron transfer between IgG and the poly(maleicanhydride-alt-decene-1)-TiO2-Protein A is quasireversible with a formal potential of 225 mV vs Ag|AgCl. The response of the poly(maleicanhydride-alt-decene-1)-TiO2-Protein A immunosensor was proportional to IgG concentration with a correlation coefficient of 0.9963. The detection limit and linear range was 0.57 ng mL?1 and 0.0062–500 μg mL?1, respectively. Impedance measurments showed that synthesized TiO2 nanoparticles have better conducting properties compared with commercial degussa P25 TiO2 nanoparticles. The nonspecific binding of anti-MBP was 10 %. The label-free impedimetric immunosensor provided a simple and sensitive detection method for the specific determination of IgG in human serum.  相似文献

In vivo imaging of tissue/vasculature oxygen saturation levels is of prime interest in many clinical applications. To this end, the feasibility of combining two distinct and complementary imaging modalities is investigated: optoacoustics (OA) and near‐infrared optical tomography (NIROT), both operating noninvasively in reflection mode. Experiments were conducted on two optically heterogeneous phantoms mimicking tissue before and after the occurrence of a perturbation. OA imaging was used to resolve submillimetric vessel‐like optical absorbers at depths up to 25 mm, but with a spectral distortion in the OA signals. NIROT measurements were utilized to image perturbations in the background and to estimate the light fluence inside the phantoms at the wavelength pair (760 nm, 830 nm). This enabled the spectral correction of the vessel‐like absorbers' OA signals: the error in the ratio of the absorption coefficient at 830 nm to that at 760 nm was reduced from 60%‐150% to 10%‐20%. The results suggest that oxygen saturation (SO 2) levels in arteries can be determined with <10% error and furthermore, that relative changes in vessels' SO 2 can be monitored with even better accuracy. The outcome relies on a proper identification of the OA signals emanating from the studied vessels.   相似文献

Hyperglycemia increases reactive oxygen species (ROS) and the resulting oxidative stress contributes to the development of diabetic complications. Dexpanthenol (Dxp) is the biological active form of pantothenic acid. We investigated whether Dxp administration could decrease oxidative stress as a way to treat renal complications of diabetes mellitus (DM). Thirty-two male Wistar albino rats were divided into four groups: control, Dxp, DM and DM + Dxp. Experimental diabetes was induced by a single dose of streptozotocin (STZ). After administration of STZ, the DM + Dxp group was administered 500 mg/kg Dxp intraperitoneally every day for 6 weeks. At the end of the study, blood glucose levels were measured and rats were sacrificed. Kidneys were embedded in paraffin, sectioned and stained with hematoxylin and eosin, and periodic acid-Schiff. The mean malondialdehyde levels, glutathione peroxidase, superoxide dismutase and catalase activities, and total antioxidant and total oxidant status also were measured. The control group was normal in histological appearance. We observed congestion, inflammation, glomerulosclerosis, tubular desquamation, loss of villi and hydropic degeneration in tubule cells in the DM group. Indicators of oxidative stress were elevated and antioxidant activity was reduced in the DM group compared to controls. In the DM + Dxp group, oxidative stress was decreased, antioxidant activity was increased and histopathological changes were reduced compared to the DM group. We found that Dxp exhibited ameliorative effects on STZ induced diabetic nephropathy by increasing antioxidant activity.  相似文献
