The muscles of the male abdomen and genitalia of Micropezidae were studied for the first time by the example of Neria commutata (Czerny, 1930). Based on analysis of the sclerites and musculature of the male genitalia of Micropezidae as compared to those of the previously studied Acalyptratae and Aschiza, we revealed several apomorphies of this group. The hypandrial complex is characterized by the presence of the phallic retractors and protractors M1 and M2, and the epandrial complex, by the presence of muscles M3 of the subepandrial sclerite, muscles M4 of the surstyli, muscles M7 of the cerci, and also the tergosternal muscles M5; all these muscles correspond to the ground plan of Cyclorrhapha. The following characters are considered apomorphic: the splitting of intersegmental sternal muscles ISM5–6 into 4 pairs that ensure the functioning of the forcipate appendages of sternite V; development of syntergosternite VII and reduction of muscles ISM6–7; the splitting of muscles M3 of the subepandrial sclerite into 4 pairs, enhancing the function of this sclerite; the appearance of pregonites with the associated muscles M42, which probably occurred independently several times in the evolution of different groups of Cyclorrhapha; asymmetry of syntergosternites VII and VIII and their muscles. The sclerites and muscles of the epandrium and hypandrium are characterized by complete symmetry.  相似文献

Sclerites and musculature of the male genitalia of Nothybidae (Diptera) were studied for the first time. Symmetry of the genital and pregenital sclerites, similar to that in Psilidae, was revealed. The muscles of the male genitalia of Nothybus resemble the apomorphic plan of Cyclorrhapha (Sciomyzidae, Scathophagidae and Calliphoridae) due to the splitting of the hypandrium and hypandrial muscles.  相似文献

The musculature of male genitalia was studied hitherto only in two species of Tephritidae, one species of Platystomatidae, one species of Pallopteridae, and three species of Ulidiidae of the superfamily Tephritoidea. The split of the hypandrium from one structure into three (the hypandrium and two lateral sclerites) is traced. The hypandrial origin of the lateral sclerites of the hypandrial complex is shown based on the localization of muscle attachment sites. The subepandrial origin of the inner lobes of the surstyli is also confirmed.  相似文献

The COI gene fragment was first examined in representatives of the family Celyphidae. The presence of a considerable hiatus between interspecific and intraspecific distances was demonstrated, which enabled using the barcoding method to distinguish species of the family Celyphidae. The results of the analysis showed that different species of Celyphidae clustered together. Within the Celyphus (Hemiglobus) porosus cluster, some haplotype heterogeneity, which was, however, within the limits of intraspecific variability, was observed.  相似文献

We analyzed the pollen content in the gut and on the body of hoverflies (Diptera: Syrphidae), mostly from three genera (Eristalis, Syrphus s. l., and Sphaerophoria) that visited flowers of two jointly flowering species of Apiaceae with indistinguishable pollen (Anthriscus sylvestris and Aegopodium podagraria) and of Bunias orientalis (Brassicaceae). Pollen compositions depended on the plant from which the flies were collected rather than on the insect genus. At the same time, individual preferences of the studied flies to food plant species were confirmed. The pollen compositions in the gut and on the body were weakly correlated. Two possible reasons for such a weak correlation are discussed: individual differences in the fly feeding habits and different time of pollen preservation in the gut and on the body.  相似文献

The structure of the abdominal and pregenital segments and genitalia of males was studied in Pyrellia rapax (Harris, 1780) and Musca autumnalis De Geer, 1776 (Muscidae, Muscini). The musculature of these species is compared with that in Musca domestica Linnaeus, 1758 (Muscidae) and Scathophaga stercoraria (Linnaeus, 1758) (Scathophagidae), previously investigated by O.G. Ovtshinnikova. Morphological analysis of sclerites and muscles of abdominal and pregenital segments and genitalia of males in Pyrellia rapax, Musca autumnalis, and M. domestica demonstrates processes of reduction in Musca as compared with P. rapax and S. stercoraria.  相似文献
