除人Y染色体外,本文采用生物素标记的人全部整条染色体特异探针与白眉长臂猿(Hylobates hoolock)有丝分裂中期分裂相进行染色体原位杂交即染色体涂染法以研究人和白眉长臂猿染色体之间的同源性。在白眉长臂猿18对常染色体上检测出了与人22对常染色体同源的59对染色体片段,确定了人和白眉长臂猿之间的精度较高的染色体连锁群。结果表明:自人与白眉长臂猿的祖先分歧以来,大量的染色体间重排(至少发生了39次易位)和染色体内的重排导致了二者核型的差异。根据杂交结果绘制了首份人和白眉长臂猿比较染色体图谱,并结合已有的人和白掌长臂猿(Hylobates lar)(2n=44)和合趾长臂猿(Hylobates syndactylus)(2n=50)的比较染色体图谱对长臂猿属的染色体进化作了初步的探讨。  相似文献

Low inorganic carbon (Ci) concentrations in seawater are usually an important factor controlling photosynthesis and growth of seaweeds. The green seaweed, Ulva conglobata Kjellm, collected from a rock pool in a middle intertidal zone located at Nanao Island, Shantou, China, were cultured under low Ci level for several days, to examine the effect of severe carbon limitation on photosynthesis. The rather high pH compensation points obtained from the pH-drift experiments indicated that U. conglobata was capable of acquiring HCO3 ? from surrounding seawater as its Ci source for photosynthesis. However, thalli of U. conglobata cultured in Ci-starved seawater exhibited a decline of biomass, showing that the realistic photosynthetic carbon gain could not compensate for the respiratory carbon consumption in the thalli under severe Ci limitation during laboratory culture. Compared with ambient Ci conditions, the culture under severe Ci limitation significantly had an increased pigment content, but a lower maximum quantum yield and photosynthetic electron transport rate. Additionally, the maximum carbon-saturating photosynthesis rate and the apparent photosynthetic conductance of U. conglobata thalli increased in cultures with severe Ci limitation compared with ambient Ci in low N-grown thalli. The results suggest that under severe Ci limitation, U. conglobata thalli increased capacities of both light absorption processes and carbon fixation pathways.  相似文献

Gamete release is an essential event in artificial seeding of the economic brown seaweed, Hizikia fusiforme. Mass egg release occurred in the dark, with few eggs being discharged in the light. Release of eggs was elicited with eight practical salinity units (one PSU ≡ 1 g sea salts l−1) and was inhibited by salinity levels >32 PSU. Egg release was optimal at 23 °C, and was decreased by 72% in agitated seawater compared to unstirred seawater. Inhibitors of photosynthesis and ions channels suppressed egg release, indicating that this process was physiologically associated with photosynthetic activity and ion transport.  相似文献

大气CO2浓度升高对海藻的影响已有许多的研究报道,但鲜见有关温度与CO2相互作用的研究.在4种条件下对坛紫菜进行连续通气培养:(1)15℃+ 390tmol/mol CO2,(2) 15℃+700 μmol/mol CO2,(3) 25℃+390 μmol/mol CO2,(4) 25℃+ 700 μmol/mol CO2.从而探讨这种南方海域重要栽培海藻种类的生长和叶绿素荧光特性对温度和CO2相互作用的响应.结果表明:CO2对坛紫菜的生长的影响具有温度依赖性,在低温生长条件下提高CO2浓度更有利于坛紫菜的生长.CO2对坛紫菜叶绿素a(Chlorophyll a,Chl a)和类胡萝卜素(Carotenoid,Car)的促进作用远大于温度对其产生的影响.相对于25℃的生长温度而言,15℃生长温度下的坛紫菜表现出较高的最大相对电子传递速率(rETRmax),表明坛紫菜在低温环境下有较高的光合潜力;而CO2对坛紫菜的rETRmax没有明显影响.对于在不同测定温度下的光合荧光特性而言,在10-30℃测定温度范围内,在各生长条件下的海藻的rETRmax、光能利用效率(α)和最大光化学量子产量(Fv/Fm)随温度的升高变化不明显;但在较高测定温度下(≥30℃),上述荧光参数显著下降,说明高温易引发海藻光能利用效率和光合能力的下降,这可能与光系统(PS)Ⅱ反应中心活性下调有关.同时,当测定温度大于30℃时,15℃生长条件下的坛紫菜的rETRmax、α和F/Fm值下降趋势远大于25℃生长条件下的坛紫菜的值,表明在低温生长条件下的坛紫菜对短期高温胁迫的适应能力较弱;而在高CO2浓度生长条件下的坛紫菜的rETRmax总是低于正常CO2浓度生长下的值,说明CO2浓度升高会抑制坛紫菜在短期高温条件下的光合电子传递能力.  相似文献

大气CO2浓度升高对陆生植物的影响引起广泛的关注,相对来讲,人们对大型海藻类与CO2浓度升高关系的研究则要薄弱得多,但近年来在这方面仍有很大进展。高CO2浓度下,许多大型海藻表现出光合能力下降,对海水中HCO3^-利用能力下降,并使得光合量子产额下降;而另一些大型海藻则没有上述光合作用的下调现象。另外,高CO2浓度下,大型海藻的其它许多生理过程(如生长、呼吸作用、营养盐代谢、生化组成以及钙化作用等),均发生了相应的变化。文章分析了影响高CO2浓度对大型海藻效应的主要因素,并对今后的研究作了展望。  相似文献

Hizikia fusiformis thalli experience dynamic incident light conditions during the period of growth. The present study was designed to examine how changing photon irradiance affects the photosynthesis both in the short and long terms by culturing H. fusiformis under three different light levels: 35 μmol photons m-2 s-1 (low light, LL), 85 μmol photons m-2 s-1 (intermediate light, IL), and 165 μmol photons m-2 s-1 (high light, HL). A similar relative growth rate was observed between IL- and HL-grown algae, but the growth rate was significantly reduced in LL-grown algae. The photosynthetic rates (P n) measured at their respective growth light levels were found to be lowest in the thalli grown at LL and highest at HL. However, LL-grown algae exhibited much higher P n in comparison with IL- and the HL-grown thalli at the same measuring photosynthetic photon flux density, indicating the photosynthetic acclimation to low growth light in H. fusiformis. The photosynthesis–light curves showed that LL-grown algae had a highest light-saturating maximum P n (P max) in comparison with IL- or HL-grown algae when the photosynthetic rates were expressed on the biomass basis. However, P max was highest in HL-grown algae compared to IL- or LL-grown algae when the rates were normalized to chlorophyll a. The photosynthesis–inorganic carbon (Ci) response curves were also significantly affected by the growth light conditions. The highest value of apparent photosynthetic conductance occurred in LL-grown algae while the lowest value in HL-grown algae. Additionally, the activity of external carbonic anhydrase (CA) tended to increase while the total CA activity inclined to decrease in H. fusiformis thalli when the growth light level altered from 35 to 165 μmol photons per square meter per second. The external CA inhibitors showed a higher inhibition in HL-grown algae compared with LL-grown algae. It was proposed that photosynthetic acclimation to low light condition in H. fusiformis was achieved through an increase in the number of reaction centers and increased capacities of electron transport and of Ci transport within cells. The ability of photosynthetic acclimation to low light confers H. fusiformis thalli to overcome the environmental low light condition as a result of the attenuation of seawater or self-shading through enhancing its photosynthetic performance and carbon assimilation necessary for growth.  相似文献

The group I metabotropic glutamate receptor 5 (mGluR5) has been implicated in the pathology of various neurological disorders including schizophrenia, ADHD, and autism. mGluR5-dependent synaptic plasticity has been described at a variety of neural connections and its signaling has been implicated in several behaviors. These behaviors include locomotor reactivity to novel environment, sensorimotor gating, anxiety, and cognition. mGluR5 is expressed in glutamatergic neurons, inhibitory neurons, and glia in various brain regions. In this study, we show that deleting mGluR5 expression only in principal cortical neurons leads to defective cannabinoid receptor 1 (CB1R) dependent synaptic plasticity in the prefrontal cortex. These cortical glutamatergic mGluR5 knockout mice exhibit increased novelty-induced locomotion, and their locomotion can be further enhanced by treatment with the psychostimulant methylphenidate. Despite a modest reduction in repetitive behaviors, cortical glutamatergic mGluR5 knockout mice are normal in sensorimotor gating, anxiety, motor balance/learning and fear conditioning behaviors. These results show that mGluR5 signaling in cortical glutamatergic neurons is required for precisely modulating locomotor reactivity to a novel environment but not for sensorimotor gating, anxiety, motor coordination, several forms of learning or social interactions.  相似文献
