A method of "acute" experiments with significant dilution of the fermentation broth is proposed for studying the effect of easily assimilable substrates on growth of the culture and production of the antibiotic by it. The effect of microconcentrations of glucose on the parameters of the process kinetics was studied with respect to penicillin. The specific effect of microconcentrations of glucose on the specific rate of the culture growth and productivity was noted.  相似文献

The effect of pH on the culture respiration rate at different concentrations of glucose in the medium was studied. It was found that the hydrogen ions showed their effect irrespective of the subsrate concentration in the medium. In this connection a type of macrokinetic equations of the effect of pH on the growth and antibiotic biosynthesis was chosen. The constants of the model were determined.  相似文献

Comparative activity of cefepime, ceftazidime, ceftriaxone, ciprofloxacin, imipenem and piperacillin/tazobactam against isolates from patients of pediatric intensive care units within October-December 1998 was studied. The isolates were identified with the Walkaway-40 System. The antibiotic susceptibility was evaluated by the E-test on the Mueller-Hinton II agar. The data were interpreted in accordance with the NCCLS. The number of the isolates totaled 100. Among them not more than 10 to 12 strains belonged to the same species. 92 per cent of the isolates was susceptible to cefepime and 70 to 75 per cent of the isolates were susceptible to the third generation cephalosporins. Piperacillin/tazobactam proved to be highly susceptible, the number of the isolates resistant and moderately resistant to it being 6 and 1 per cent respectively. The results showed that cefepime was intermediate between the third generation cephalosporins and carbapenems.  相似文献

The influence of P1,P3-bis(5'-adenosyl)triphosphate (Ap3A), P1,P4-bis(5'-adenosyl)tetraphosphate (Ap4A) and its analogues, containing a residue of methylenediphosphonic acid in various positions of the oligophosphate chain, on the reactions catalysed by phenylalanyl-tRNA synthetase from E. coli MRE-600 has been studied. The compounds do not affect significantly the rate of ATP-[32P]PPi-exchange nor maintain this reaction in the absence of ATP. The diadenosineoligophosphates are shown to be noncompetitive inhibitors of ATP in the tRNA aminoacylation by phenylalanine (for Ap4A Ki = 1,45.10(-3) M). The phosphonate analogues of Ap4A inhibit the synthesis of Ap3A depending on their structure. The conclusion is thus drawn that the E. coli MRE-600 phenylalanyl-tRNA synthetase does not interact property with Ap4A and its phosphonate analogues.  相似文献
